I thought the first Joker was very interesting and entertaining. Hopefully this will be too. Joquan Phoenix is excellent and Lady Gaga seems to be an excellent choice to co-star.

He did. My point is he wasted his talent on a dumb movie. I liked Taxi Driver a lot without the clown makeup.

I agree, it was a ripoff of Taxi Driver and The King of Comedy with a dose of Todd Phillip's patented subtlety that he honed on the "Hangover" movies. This movie wouldn't have been half the success it was if people had a better understanding of film history.
