I look at the lineups they trot out there daily and it amazes me that they are top 10 in runs scored.  Pitching, especially starters have been solid thusfar.

Lets get that sweep!

Tork is playing really well.  Hope it lasts

With Greene, Carpenter, Tork thats a good 3 hitters there.

St. Joseph native Noah Cameron will be getting the start tomorrow for the Kansas City #Royals against the Rays in Tampa.
Manager Matt Quatraro said Cameron will start in place of Cole Ragans, who is dealing with a groin injury.

this is pretty darn cool.  Cameron played for St. Joseph Central HS, where my son is a senior on the baseball team and making occasional starts in the rotation.  A bunch of Noah's close friends and family are making the trip to Tampa to watch him in his big league debut.

Slow news day? Maybe a positive human interest story rather than the negativity it's usually filled with?

I don't know :dunno:

This is Bobby Witt Jr.'s 500th game and he just logged his 1,000th total base.   Good God.

The Royals are a solid sub-.500 team this year.

Took a no-no into the 7th.  5 walks, 1 hit in 6.1 scoreless innings.   A nice debut but there really isn't a spot in the rotation so he'll be back in Omaha soon.   Still cool to see the hometown fam given a bunch of airtime on the broadcast tonight.

The royals won their game tonight, but more accurately the white Sox had a total collapse and lost the game.   Do yourself a favor and go watch the pure comedic collapse that transpired.   No matter who you root for, you'll feel better knowing it's not the white sox.

R. I. P Chet Lemon. Good player on one of the unique teams in MLB history, 84 Tigers. Got off to a 35-5 start and coasted but picked it up in the end. I remember rooting for the Padres because they had Nettles.

I grew up in Chicago as a huge Cubs fan.  84 was our year.  Stupid Padres ruined it.  Eat a d!ck Steve Garvey

I liked him so much as a Cub.  Sucked to see the abuse he got in Boston.

Sure is.  Your boys are like 15 of the last 17?  Impressive.   Gonna be a fun division this year.   We all get to beat up on the white sox.....then battle each other for the division.  Cleveland is winning with smoke and mirrors right now.   Don't know if they can sustain that

Per mlb network social media

Last year, three teams made the Postseason from the AL Central: Tigers, Guardians and Royals.

Over the last month dating back to April 9th, those same clubs boast three of the five best records in MLB:

- Tigers (18-9)

- Guardians (18-9)

- Royals (17-11)

Give us Ryan O'Hearn back please, anyone would be better than Renfroe and we could use another left-handed bat
