How would they set the time if they made it set and forget? Would they just jump 30 minutes forward at this time instead of 1 hour and then we deal with it for good? My guess is he will sign an EO to pause moving to DST or he'll let it roll this year and when we fall back that'll be it. No more time changes.

No. They'd stop this focking ridiculous bullshit, & we wouldn't spring forward an hour at 2 AM Sunday morning. In case anyone here is too focking stupid to realize it, the Earth/mother nature, whatever the fock you wanna call, has already started making the the amount of daylight longer. This began on December 21, the "Winter Solstice," which is the shortest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere. https://www.imagebam.com/view/ME106FFO

Do you think this will all happen in the next 5 hours? And why does it hurt you this much? There is no discomfort created in the time change.

I have a feeling I added it 'after' you posted the reply. Look at it & think about it.

It doesn't hurt me, but it bothers me because it's unnecessary. Don't tell me you're one of those people that believes we'll have an additional hour of daylight tomorrow. I think I specifically said to you, "I like longer summer sun up evenings".

I'm glad to hear that. I mistakenly thought you might be. BTW: 'Shifting' daylight hours so that we have more light in the evening versus the morning, does negatively affect a percentage of the population. Studies have found that people are at greater risk of mood disturbance, suicide, and being involved in traffic accidents during both bi-annual clock changes. Once we go back to standard time on November 2, I hope Donald Trump sees to it that we just leave the clocks as they are, and let the sun do its job.
listen2me 23 1,839 Posted March 9 I dont get all bothered with this. I suppose it makes more sense to stay on a time. If so, I would want to be on the time we just switched over to all year.
Voltaire 5,273 Posted March 9 If we change, I'd support making daylight savings permanent, but I'd rather just not fock with it.
