The egg on the face of the conservative outrage mob was the people claiming that the dwarves were “replaced” by the “7 diverse people,” when really they were in the movie all along in a different capacity, and the photo that went viral even cropped out the 8th person (a straight white male).  Although somehow @EternalShinyAndChrome still believes that those people were supposed to replace the dwarves lol

Outrage?  Sounds like you're making things up to cherry-pick a "gotcha" moment.  There was PLENTY of things wrong that MOST people (i.e. conservatives and liberals) did not go see it.  It wasn't only about dwarves, which you seem to be trying to revise history and claim that's what it was ALL about.

Lol you gonna quibble over the word outrage?  Whatever you want to call it, many conservatives like yourself felt the need to comment on the belief that the dwarves were being replaced by the “7 diverse people.”  There was an entire since-deleted thread here about it.  

I wasn’t even commenting on the performance of the movie, although I had previously.  Yes Zegler’s comments didn’t help, but from what I can tell, it seems like the bigger issue was that the movie was just bad, and as far as the movie itself goes, I’ve read she was actually one of the best parts about it.

Keep in mind the original claim that they were replacing the dwarves was based on 1 picture.  Which was cropped to remove the 8th person, a normal looking straight white male.  Which the scene of was still in the final movie.  You’re the one making something up.
