Jesus Jerry- the tweet that was posted is calling Elon retarded. Not his kid. It isn't that hard to read and see that.

Content of the tweet aside you are way off on this.

Thank you.  His gaslighting was starting to work on me but I'm stronger than him.

Doh, I saw Musk in the @ and figured it was Elon; I didn't think someone would tweet Elon's mother to call Elon retarded.  That's special but in a different way.

@The Psychic Observer, you were right and I was wrong.  I'll take the L here.  Have a nice start to your weekend.

Also, @The Real timschochetis correct about Mars.  It's not so much the going there, it's all the innovation required in the process.  We didn't need to go to the moon, but if we hadn't, we wouldn't have things like cell phones, at least not nearly as developed as we do now.

Necessity (or, a purpose) is the mother of invention.

In this thread alone, climate was mentioned.  What might we learn about climate in the Mars pursuit that could help us on Earth?  :dunno:

There is a ton known about climate and very little done to help here on Earth because it's been politicized into submission like just about everything else in society.

Humans have become their own worst enemies.

Musk 100% thinks we need to colonize Mars and eventually we'll need to leave earth.

Me?  I don't care.  I won't be around and I won't be moving to Mars.

I just know we cannot let California liberals get there first or getting a building permit for new construction to move into would be nearly impossible.
