Maximum Overkill 1,738 Posted Sunday at 12:16 PM I don't understand the pick when Omarion Hampton was staring them in the face at 10. They clearly needed a RB and didn't take one till the 7th round. Horrible draft IMO.

Swift and Johnson are still good RBs on the roster and they can grab someone in FA.
LaChup 228 Posted Tuesday at 05:14 PM I'm surprised they didn't draft another bowling pin, to moonlight as an offensive lineman.

I dont know. presumably they will start him out at guard. all I know is the team needed O line help. while this addresses some of this, I had hoped for more. and I'd argue they needed the O line help more than they needed a TE and/or WR. though I do see the attractiveness of having a young WR who can grow up with your starting QB.

Warren seems like a rugged guy and probably eill br a good football player. But his skillset never screamed top 10 pick. I dont love taking a TE nor RB 10th overall tho. Especially when both positions were very good/deep this year. Colston has more dynamic recieving ability on paper at least.

They were in position to take the best player available or trade back.
