Also, Miller is incorrect, he doesn’t have “the option to live in El Salvador,” because we sent him to prison there and as far as I’m aware he has not been released (nor charged with any crime that would keep him in prison).

He was illegally in this country. That's a crime. A big one.

It’s a crime in El Salvador to be in the US illegally?

Beats me. But it is here. So they shipped him out and now he's other people's problem to deal with. WTF do I care about that POS?

So...the US has now reached a point where we are omnipotent enough to dictate to other countries who that country needs to imprison? Could you expound on that & educate us on the heinous ramifications said country would face by not imprisoning whomever we dictate being imprisoned? And who oversees this mandate....seal team 6? John Rambo? Chuck Norris? Say what you want about Trump.....but if he has the global power to dictate to other countries as to who they are required to jail......I call that a huge win!! Can you just imagine? Hello Yemin?  Yes.....this is Trump.....I need you to jail all the Houthis right now!!!

This is awesome.......or, as usual.....bull$hit.

Lol, cool strawman.  Nah I’m only concerned with the people that we specifically send to prison in a country that we are paying them to imprison.

On Monday, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt detailed the cost to U.S. taxpayers.

"It was approximately $6 million, to El Salvador, for the detention of these foreign terrorists," she told reporters.

After a long week....I can come home & on occasion, pour a couple fingers of tequila (Blue Agave currently), binge read some of the twattery of (🤔) intellectuals & then get them to jump on the treadmill of "I'll   show you".....only to watch themselves speak from their chocolate starfish. Here's to you "Baseless argument having guy"🤣😂🍺

You must forgive him.....he has become so inebriated suckling the teet of illusion & dystopia that he knows not what he does. Arguing about money spent removing criminals from our society & ignoring money wasted on transgender operas & comic books sent to the same region. It's like glorifying a shopping spree & condemning an upgrade to your home heating system.

Feel welcome to share your understanding of due process.  Please include whether there are levels of due process from criminal matters where we seek to incarcerate or fine, to civil matters, to administrative matters where we seek to deny applications, say for amnesty.

he's got what the latest Dem talking point is.  Most would feel different if a loved one was killed, maimed, raped by an illegal.  their tone would change just a tad.

The Dems side of the coin is Oh God I care!  until it affects them as in Martha's vineyard.  Took them 2 days to get them out.

I care!

Sure; here is my simple layman’s understanding.

When the state arrests or detains anyone in this country that person has the right to go before a judge and argue as to why he or she should not be detained. There are no exceptions to this rule (both Lincoln and FDR claimed exception during time of war but I believe they were wrong.)

Hows that? So far as I know the Supreme Court agrees with me (at least, they do in the case of Abrego Garcia, is my understanding). Please forgive me if I missed anything important- I didn’t find that somewhere or copy or paste anything- that is my own understanding in my own words.

ETA as to the specifics you asked me to include, I don’t know. I’m sure there are different levels of due process but I don’t know the specifics off the top of my head. In this case (Abrego Garcia) it’s pretty simple, at least to me- prior to his deportation he had the right to go before a judge and argue as to why he should not have been deported. He was not afforded that right.

You’re right though. I don’t think that lawful gun owners should be unnecessarily burdened because of the actions of a few people. I do favor some gun regulations but not any that would burden lawful gun owners.
