artista928 21 Posted 23 hours ago Bev says court ends at 4:00 today. I watch a ton of trials & 5:00 is the earliest I've seen. Usually they'll maybe check in ŵhere they are. If they are close, I've seen one case go to 10 pm with a pizza dinner. Never seen a judge so restrictive & interfering especially with the defense in this case! artista928 21 Posted 22 hours ago Seeing thèse type of comments on̈ Twitter scare me. I'm thinking there is at least 1 idiot on the jury.. "It’s not a difficult case at all. OUI manslaughter hit and run."
artista928 21 Posted 22 hours ago A lawyer who had tĥe rare opportunity to be on a jury said there were a couple whose attention span was short in his trial & these people would go with she was there, drunk, he was hit, killed..mentality.

Gepetto 1,340 Posted 19 hours ago It’s beyond difficult to get a not guilty verdict especially when the prosecutor and judge are willing to do whatever it takes to get a win. If you are charged with a crime even if innocent, you’re usually getting convicted anyway. Karen Read has great lawyers who put on an excellent defense. I think they should have spent a good deal of time explaining what reasonable doubt means in a general sense.

The way the form is set up screams choose a guilty verdict. I mean it should be simple..put ng next to each count & simplify the damn thing. Bev is corrupt af! Not answering their question.. hopefully the jury is sus about it. They sound smart. I can't see them leaving tomorrow not done. Thursday is the fed holiday so no court, Friday not positive court will resume. She'll have to read the Allan charge, I think it's called, where you said the jury back at least once if they say hung to encourage them to keep working on it.
