His Interviews are the best, they get everyone on there from old timers like Johnny Bench to podcasters. Show is probably 80% sports / 20% random topics. A great interviewer gets candid answers and not the typical BS. Some athletes are just lame for sure of course. Johnny Bench for instance was on the teams that I first went to see with my family as a little kid. We made banners, showed up early for batting practice, the whole deal. So I am interested when he is on: His interviews on the DP show are gold. Their interactions are very good, you can tell they like each other, he tells great stories and DP always gets some new info out of him a some new thing that happened in some World Series based on how the convo is going.
