If we can arrest another country's leader from his own bed, we can surely arrest some pedophiles, right? I wonder what's preventing it from happening?

Bingo.

You agree there is no evidence to arrest since we are capable and haven't done so?  Time to close down this thread.

No need for that. Republican & Democratic DOJs & the Palm Beach Cty. DA busted Epstein & Maxwell 4 times to their credit. Starfish was obviously talking co-conspirators & johns.

Most MAGA rally goer types are highly unsuccessful, poor, uneducated cult followers who live their sorry lives through Trump. When they feel like Trump is winning, they think they are winning too. As long as the “liberalz!” are pointing out Trump’s illegal activity, whether it’s raping girls or unauthorized military actions, the cult will defend him to the end. It’s pathetic.

Yesterday was the deadline for the Trump-Bondi DOJ to submit its legal justifications for the redactions.

>>Democrats on the House Oversight Committee noted the timing in a post on X, writing, “We are sure it’s just a coincidence, but today is the statutory date for the DOJ to explain its redactions in the Epstein file productions.”<<

Why does this administration need to explain redactions? Ask the one who doctored the files from the last administration.

Because it’s in the law.

Less than 1% of the files have been released.

And this from the Wall Street Journal:

Quote

Donald Trump’s past connection to Jeffrey Epstein is facing renewed scrutiny following a new report from The Wall Street Journal that details alleged interactions between Epstein and workers from Trump’s Mar-a-Lago spa in Florida.

According to the report, Mar-a-Lago spa employees, some of them teenagers, were allegedly sent to Epstein’s Palm Beach mansion despite staff reportedly being aware that the financier engaged in inappropriate behavior during appointments.

The Mar-a-Lago spa was a recruitment center for Epstein.

Regime change in Venezuela and that woman getting shot in Minneapolis pushed this story off the news cycle. Hard to keep up with this circus.

Well sounds like we’re 125K+ pages into a 5+ million page production. For a guy who leveraged it so successfully vs Hillary Trump doesn’t seem to get the damage caused by the slow dripdripdrip.

Question I keep coming back to is why Don let his son, AG, FBI director etc. make hay out of the Epstein files or he had no intention of releasing them.

Only answer that makes sense is straight up arrogance. He thought he could wave a hand and make it all go away.

Round and round we go.

The Biden administration’s decision not to release the Epstein files while President Joe Biden was still in office. Jamala (K!) was asked why.

Quote

“To give you an answer that will not satisfy your curiosity, we — perhaps to our damage — but we strongly, and rightly, believed that there should be an absolute separation between what we wanted as an administration and what the Department of Justice did,” Harris shared on Kimmel's show. “We absolutely adhered to that and it was right to do that.”

So it was the DOJ that was asleep at the wheel? The same DOJ that was aggressively going after Trump until the realiztion he was going to be reelected set in?

There is one answer that satisfies all these questions. Do you know what that is?

Obviously the Biden and Trump administrations both stonewalled on this he Epstein files to protect power brokers from either side of the aisle. The key differences I see are:

1. Only Trump let his son imply it was a one-side issue, had his AG hand out Epstein “Phase 1” binders to influencers, appointed Epstein truthers like Kash and Bongino to key positions etc.

2. Trump himself is IN the files.
