That isn't exactly what happened. From a Google search:

The Massachusetts National Guard did provide logistical support, such as lodging and dining facilities at the Cape Cod base, but did not transport the migrants from Martha's Vineyard.

The biggest shock in all of this is that a protest in LA was allowed to escalate by leadership that made little attempt to stop or slow it, and it turned into full-blown rioting and looting.  Who could have expected that?  Certainly not Newsom or Bass!  I mean, this has never happened before.

Also, it's important that we separate the protests from the riots.  The protests include burning cars, throwing rocks, smashing windows, blocking roadways from emergency vehicles, endangering federal buildings, taking up the time of emergency services from other, actual emergencies, and 20 year old college kids with no life wisdom calling cops stupid.

Curious as to where you got your facts from.  From everything I can gather they had the police out controlling the situation and it never went into full blown rioting and looting.  The national guard or marines haven't done anything except piss off the locals.  Feel free to share your sources.

You're dumb. The National Guard is only there to guard Federal Property. This frees up the Police to do their job, protect and serve, which they aren't capable of because they don't have enough offices to be everywhere they need to be.
