The parade was paid for by the country of Quatar. Our friends. 

It's also a great advertising venue now and for future commercials for the US Army. 

The US Army met it's yearly goal of recruits four months ago after Trump's inauguration. There were concerns because the US Army recruitments numbers were low in 2022 and 2023.

Good point. I have never seen the Mardi Gras parade in N.O or the Mummers parade in Philly.  Potentially those would change my mind.. I do suspect if i were to watch one with you, bunny, that I would end up so intoxicated I would only remember it from the police video of my arrest.

 Nahhh. I’m more seasoned than crawfish. I wouldn’t allow you to eat the cheese grits at OPP the next morning. There’s a method to that organized chaos. You couldn’t ask for a better host. Now, will you get drunk? Damn right you will.

 I’m somewhat of a grandpa. Get a good parking spot and when you get there, hang and watch in the back, sit in a chair and watch it from there with a cooler of beer and Gatorade. And enjoy the experience with all the sights and sounds, marching bands, and just people watch.

The parade was beautiful and a wonderful tribute to our brave Men and Women of the Military.  

Ohhh, and BTW, the Military spends over 1 Billion dollars a year on recruitment.  They just got their money's worth! They recruited  hundreds of new soldiers over the weekend and expect it to be in the thousands from this.
