your team is getting hot at the right time, which is why most of my leagues have never reshuffled as the playoffs go along. People sometimes bring it up when a 6 seed advances and plays the 2, instead of the 1, but then other people point out that a lot of 6 seeds come in on fire due to getting injured players back, or having some of their bench stash guys assume larger roles and if you take a more narrow focus at the last month- 6 weeks, they are often stronger on paper than the 4/5 seeds. 

As to the bolded, maybe, but he was starting to flash before he got hurt.  But yeah, he'd need to supplant Shakir in my lineup, which... wouldn't be that hard to do, honestly.  Shakir has been very shaky-r this season.

I did hit on McMillan, and Harvey (through injury) has gotten the chance to shine, so I view my team as coming around as you say.

Also for Biff:  AD may have Allen, but I've got Jaxson Dart's MILF mother in the stands with perky cold nips rooting on her son.    Also he plays against Washington in football, which is good.

Yeah, that Williams TD on the first drive was a kick in the nuts.  Everything was set up for him NOT to get it, but the fantasy gods conspired for him.  But I guess Jefferson dropping that easy TD made up for it -- what the hell is wrong with him this year?

All I can do is think happy, positive thoughts.  Maybe Waddle will get gang raped on the way to the game?

up 14.5, i'd say if Miami plays well and the offense funnels through Achane, Wright, Washington and Waller...    It's hard to envision Waddle being shut down but there is at least some hope for you

My guess is that Pitt will try to shut down Achane and make Tua and company beat them.  Which wouldn't bode well for me.

It's been a long time since I watched a game so intently.   

Miami went on a long drive in the 4th, seemingly just playing out the game.  But they got a TD, which put me ahead with 2:30 to go.  All Pitt needed to do was get the ball and run out the clock.  Suddenly Miami tried harder.  Onside kick (a good one), but luckily Pitt got it.  Then Miami used all of their timeouts to get the ball back with 2 minutes to go.  At this point I figured I'm done, since you only needed one Waddle catch, or a sack or turnover, and you won.  But Waddle was never in the game plan, and they got to 3rd and short.  Tua steps up in the pocket, then runs out of it and... instead of throwing the ball away to stop the clock, he just turtled.

I was watching in our family room; my wife was in our bedroom but I had the sound on in there on our Sonos speakers.  Just after the sack I heard her say "ahhh, I'm sorry."  The fact that she pretended to care is a big reason I  her.  

Anyway, congrats ya bastage.  Let me know if you want the $50 directly or if I should send it to Ed towards your golf when the season starts.
