It’s all academic though, because there will still be many millions of illegals here when Trump leaves office in 2028.

That I doubt. The continued ICE raids will have to reduce the numbers of undocumented crossing the border.

Agree.  And for awhile at least, the ones that remain will be less likely to show up for work than they used to be.
