McMillan

Fair assessment

More to the topic, I thought that regardless of what we think... McMillan was going to be the guy, virtually, no matter what.  To me, Thielen leaving is better for Legette and Coker.

If I had to put numbers on them, I'd say that McMillan was going to get around 130+ targets.  I think the only reason why Legette and Coker got the target share they got last year, was because Thielen only played 10 games who was on pace for over 100 targets.  Now, Coker did a bunch of games, but he was only getting about 4 targets a game.  I think the Panthers throw more this year, with better than a 6.2 ypa rate.  I think now there's enough targets to say that McMillan could be a surprise WR1, but solid WR2.  Either Coker or Legette could be a WR2 and the other a WR3.  If Thielen is there, I'd say that all 3 of those guys were at best, WR3's... most likely 1 or 2 would've been a WR4.

Thielen owners get a boost until Addison returns.

Don’t  see why McMillan owners gain anything from this move, I saw a wr2, and three wr4 with wr3 upside occasionally

Yeah.  I think this means they like Coker.

Which round in a ppr league would you say he should be drafted

Pre-trade, he was going in the 6th as WR29.  The thought was likely a weak offense and QB.  As we saw with Nabers & Thomas, if your WR is the #1 target on the team, he can be a fantasy WR1.  I'd be willing take take him in the 4th as a WR2 and hope it works out.  Carolina has a pretty weak schedule, so that helps.

I wouldn’t adjust his draft value, I would stick to his adp, mid rd five.

Was Thielen even a threat to take receptions?

Yes, he was 1,000 yard reciever in his first year with Carolina, and last year was on pace for another 1,000 yard season until he was injured.

Hoping to draft McMillan, Diggs, and Pearsall, all who have WR1 likelihood for each of their teams.

I can see two of the three... not so much with Diggs.  I think he's done.

I like Hetero McMillan. The volume should be there and if so then there's nothing to worry about.

Nice. I didn't get any of them. After Malik Nabers and Garrett Wilson, I did get Travis Hunter, Waddle, Rashee Rice, J Jennings, and Josh Downs.
