Fox News dominates its competitors, which might explain why no action has been taken.

Fox News has higher viewership and better ratings than its cable news competitors like CNN and MSNBC, consistently ranking as the most-watched cable news channel in the United States for the past several years. It also regularly tops the ratings in primetime and total day viewing compared to broadcast networks ABC, CBS, and NBC.

If we're being told that it's the responsibility of these companies to ensure that their talking heads are not spewing hate, then logically Fox should act here and take him off the air, shouldn't they?

Maybe Fox is waiting for the FCC to make a threat first. Or POTUS.

You're absolutely right about that. I understand that this is not something that can ever be proven to have direct correlation. But there should never be an opportunity for this to even be a discussion. The administration should not have said anything. In the old days (pre-2017), even the appearance of impropriety or conflict of interest was to be avoided at all costs. That is right out the window now. Trump says it, the power players that want to keep him on their good side so he'll approve multi-billion $ mergers in the future make it happen. This is not a secret, it's all being done in the open. We saw it with the Paramount merger, the 60 minutes and ABC payoffs.

There are mountains of evidence of corruption in this admin. But nothing he does gets acknowledged as such by his supporters because they refuse to see it.

I can see the idiocy and lack of leadership in the democratic party. I can see how ineffectual they are and how they're completely incapable of rising to this occasion because of their arrogance and willingness to back issues that don't resonate with the public. I can admit that they lack vision and charisma and that Biden was a GD turnip.

Why is it that Trump supporters can't get there? It's like saying a negative word about the man will physically harm them. As a result, they just chuckle and drink the lib tears because that's all that really seems to matter to many of them.
