Tennessee man held on $2 million bond for posting a meme with a Trump quote

This was posted in a couple different threads but probably deserves its own.

Blatant violation of the first amendment, and will likely cost this county a lot of money if he chooses to sue.

He has been in jail since 9/22 with a preliminary hearing not scheduled until 12/4.

Good. Making threats to people's safety is no joke and should be handled with severe consequences.

Not surprised MAGAs support this. They have no morals or integrity at all.

That seems a pretty thin case, and never should have been brought by prosecutors.

Mackey meme was non violent and got 7 months until our country made a common sense patriot turn last November.  Bushart sounds like a typical violent liberal nutcase.  We are all better off, even him, that he is off the streets.

People, especially when the middle aged got on facebook tend to embarrass themselves on social media.

But 2 mill bond?  Thats ridiculous.  Seems unimaginable.   We take these things more serious than violent criminals.   The system is pretty backwards.

Less caring about words and feelings and more caring about locking up career criminals instead of letting them out over and over.

When Libs started policing words and feelings it all started to go to crap.

I believe this is the judge that allowed the bail at $2 million.  Based on her hair color she’d fit in with the Trump admin…maybe gunning for Bondi‘s job?
