The article says that there are no Rap songs in the Top 40 of Billboard's Hot 100, not that are none in the Hot 100 listing.

As noted in that piece, there are three tunes in the Top 50 that missed the Top 40 cut:

#44 Shot Calling by YoungBoy Never Broke Again

#48 Safe by Cardi B

#49 Hell At Night by BigXthaPlug

Here, this recently came out, to me, it sucks. It’s just a bunch of negative words strung together with a booty popping video. I guess I’m just too old but I find nothing interesting or fun about this video and it’s not even sexy. The only thing I like is the background track, it’s not completely bad. Maybe it’s meant for men to like? I don’t like it at all:

How big of trucks are you talking?   Montser Truck?  Lol.  

I have a regular full sized truck and it easily fits into 1 parking spot.  Unless parking spots are tiny in the bigger cities.  

 The headlights?  Geez grandma.

These dudes where I work have these giant trucks, they live in the burbs, they are super shiny, the things look like they haven’t seen dirt ever. They complain about gas prices. 

They also always have to back them into any parking spot. It’s focking annoying

yes I happen to be a country fan lately, yes I was a rap and hip hop fan in my 20's. By no means am I saying country is good. Some of it is, a lot of it is trash. They don't sing about the same stuff, unless it's just in the sense that all music is generally about a few main themes.  I can't recall very many lyrics about prostitutes, beating women, hard drug use, gangs and murda the way I recall rap from my late teens and 20's.

There’s a shitton of rap that talks about their rides (trucks), getting high with the crew (drinking Budweisers), and trying to get bitches (chasing tail).

The good old boys from Chattahoochie didn’t grow up in South Central LA getting shot at so there will be some nuance
