Before the game started I was saying to myself they have a better chance with Mac Jones

looks like you were right.

I'm amazed. usually when the QB throws 3 early game INT its a blowout loss.    San Fran is actually winning despite this.

granted... the game is not over.  but still......

I like purdy because he's competitive scrapy & not scared he has a set of nuts ... He's a local talent here in Des Moines Iowa... But He's way over rated and not fooling me

well, Mac Jones has looked better so far this year.   though when you have a year thats broken with injury to the extent it has been, its sometimes hard to get back on track.

These coaches....

Panthers score a TD.

49ers commit penalty on extra point.  Panthers elect to go for 2 from the 1 yard line.

Now, the whole reason you went for two is because you are now one yard closer.  So what do you do?  Let's line up in shotgun completely negating the fact that you're now 1 yard closer.

If you're going to run that play, why not just run it from the two?  Hell, it might've been easier with an extra yard of space.

Kudos to panthers defense not falling for some dumb ass fake to Pearsall on a jet sweep and keying in on mccaffery on that second and twelve.

Don't know why defenses don't do that more often against the 9ers.  Like, they give this dude the ball every other play.  Just have two people following him every play.

This Panthers offense isn’t gonna go anywhere if Young doesn’t learn to spread the ball around & do it quicker. He doesn’t have the arm for a lot of those deeper routes

I remember many on this board doubting mr Mccaffery, that he wasn’t worthy of a first rd pick, he wouldn’t make it pass game six, the guy is the best ff player.  Silly people

Nobody doubted the talent, it was the injury concerns, and for good reason.

He's fortunately remained healthy and looks great. Great pickup if you drafted him.

given the guys injury history and he was out much of pre season I think people were right to be wary of the guy.

hed had more unhealthy years than healthy ones in recent years.
