The reason the WH gave was they disagreed with the verdict, which is not why presidents have the pardon power, but still he pardoned Gentile and not Schneider.  There were no legal issues stated.  The reason was "Biden"

Without a valid reason for pardon and pardoning gentile and not Schneider raises the spectre of corruption certainly.

So why Gentile?  There is some evidence of his ties to Russian oligarchs.  The Trump family also has long ties to Russian oligarchs as well.

The first charge against gbp was a compliance officer in 2019 when Trump was president.

Well I had never heard of this case until this week but interestingly it looks like Gentile was originally sentenced to 7 years and Schneider 6, which would imply Gentile was found to be even more guilty than Schneider

I had not either despite my interest in th se types of cases.  There are just so many.  One of my favorite podcasts is called "swindled" where the guy tells stories of corruption, fraud, theft.  

Anyway this case looks rock solid with no reason for a pardon, but if Jerry or anyone else can provide evidence that the DOJ was corrupt I would love to see it.

In terms of pardons, the best evidence of corruption might be his pardon of CZ, whose company directly helped the Trump family crypto project.   And Binance is accused of doing business with Hamas among others.  Did you complain about that one? Since you seem to like complaining about funds given to a club Mamdani started as a college student and all. 

Another example is the ending of the investigation into Justin Sun, who also helped with the Trump family crypto project, in his case by spending about $75 million on it.

There is also Paul Walzcak, whose mother attended a $1 million per person Trump fundraising event at Mar a Lago shortly before he was pardoned.

And Joseph Schwartz, who paid almost $1 million to conservative lobbying groups shortly before his pardon.

No, we might not get direct evidence that people are paying for pardons/commutations/ending investigations, but per my OP, there sure does seem to be a trend of it happening for rich guys, often who happen to support Trump family businesses and/or conservative causes.

I was just gonna make this point.  When you look at this pardon in a vacuum, it doesn't make sense.  When you look at all the pardons, and all the corruption, it's just another brick in the wall of corruption that Trump has built
