Maduro says Venezuela is 'ready' to make deal with US on drugs and oil after military strikes - WINNING!

There were plenty of shots fired.

And as I recall, a lot of people thought Iraq was gonna be a quickie too.

Venezuela is a petrostate. Do you think they are just going to cede their #1 source of income to the U.S. because we got Maduro?

I don't think the US is going to colonize Venezuela or hold it's oil in perpetuity for American gain.  I was against going into Iraq because the follow up was going to inevitably be worse than Saddam who kept a lid on a powder keg.  There, the greedy strongman is better than religious fanatics.  Here, the military really hasn't resisted, there are no religious extremists wanting to martyr themselves running around.  In this case, I think it's likely what follows is likely better and worst case no worse than Maduro who ran a narco-state and was buddies with China and Russia.  But long term we do not need to be there and need to find the quickest path to turn rule back over to the Venezuelans.  As with anywhere, if we stay too long, what goodwill you have will erode and you will face resistance.  All that can be and is true.

40 Venezuelans died. & several US soldiers were injured.

Point taken.  But given what occurred, on a per capita basis you were still about as safe in Caracas on Friday night as you would have been in Chicago and you literally had a dictator taken into custody that night.  I'd say that was pretty incredible.

Since when do Liberals care about Venezuelans?

Where were you 3 days ago?

Hypocrites like @Ron_Artest @dogcows @squistion

Well, on the front page of the NYT 5 days ago the issue was:

Trump Invited White South Africans to America. One Ended Up in Detention.

An Afrikaner flew to the United States expecting protection. Instead, he has spent months locked up in Georgia alongside hundreds of other immigrants.

I mentioned elsewhere our military & IC again showed we are the best in the world. Thanks for the reply.

We have sooo few problems liberals are losing their sh!t.

This whole thing might maybe could make sense from the maga POV if we’re *not taking out the government & rebuilding VZ. Because if we were, we’d just be adding to our problems.

I feel like libs are overthinking this thing to fit their own narratives. It's not a war, it's not an invasion.

We went in there an arrested Maduro and his wife, which whom BIDEN indicted in 2020. It's simple as that. We didn't overthrow the Country or cripple their infrastructure. It's really not that big of a deal.

If we had a warrant for someone here in the US we'd do the same. Am I wrong?

Thinks Biden is a Pedo

- Trump executed what Biden couldn't. Why are Libs upset? Politics

The Biden-Harris administration put a $25 million bounty on Nicolás Maduro for information leading to his arrest or conviction.

Public safety is not a political game.

You do not label someone a narco-dictator one year and then pretend he is no longer a threat the next simply because a different president is in office. That is cynical and irresponsible.

Maduro’s drugs have killed thousands of Americans and continue to endanger our children. Imagine being the parents of 2-year-old Nicholas Feliz Dominici, who died from fentanyl poisoning in a Bronx daycare, and watching this political theater.

America is safer today because Maduro is no longer in power.

Welcome to New York, Nicolás.

Maduro didn't send fentanyl to the US.

I’m fine with the arrest & the charges too if the SDNY judge is fine with it.

And I’m fine with the first part too if we include maga & almost everybody else left & right too. Everyone’s overreacting everywhere because the communication on policy & facts from WH, SD & DOD is so vague & confused.

Gustavo Petro may want to chill out. He may be next.

"But sovereignty!!!"

His country is a Hotspot of drug trafficking and corruption that harms the US. He is in bed with them, because nothing is ever really done about it. Can't wait to make all of South America aligned perfectly with the US.
