Had my 1st ever shoplifting experience last evening - GDC

About to walk into local grocery store with my girl. Some skinny white kid (only color we really have) comes flying out the front door and barely misses me. Assume he's running to catch a bus or cab. Then we hear someone yell HEY! Was chasing him to catch him. He was way too fast. The kid barely missed me when he came running out the door. I was I had known so I could have thrown a little hip check on him. Kid was maybe 140 pounds. He had only 1 bag, he couldn't have had that much stuff.

Are you saying if I did, that means I didn't witness my 1st time as an adult, someone else doing it?

Yes, I'm being pedantic. And yes, I'm doing it jokingly. Because sometimes it's okay to have a little fun. Especially if it's at your expense.

i'll be honest, I genuinely assumed it meant you never shoplifted as a kid or had friends do it either.  I was friends with this kid in middle school who used to steal action figures and games from the same toy store in our downtown area every freaking day on our way home.
