KSB2424 3,083 Posted October 24, 2014 He may go boom this week, then he'll have 5 straight weeks of 2 catches for 18 yards followed by another boom week. If he doesn't catch a bomb he is a dud play. To much risk for my blood. Good luck trying to hit that lottery.

kilroy69 994 Posted October 24, 2014 Hunter has a far better chance of becoming fantasy revelent with a big arm under center than with always hurt jake locker and clipboard jesus. mettenberger has a cannon and can use it. This is seriously the best move that wisencunt has made all year.
TennisMenace 156 Posted October 24, 2014 I gave up on Hunter in one league and play him reluctantly under duress in another.
Voltaire 4,560 Posted October 24, 2014 The OP isn't pulling this prediction out of nothing. There's sound reasoning here to name this WR, this week for a breakout. Granted, Hunter hasn't done much yet this season but the stars are aligning for him. Hunter had a great preseason, he's already displaced Washington in the starting lineup and now Clipboard Jesus (who can't throw downfield) is being replaced by Mettenburg who has a cannon. That should mean a total overhaul of the Titans offensive playcalling with Hunter as the beneficiary. We'll all have a better grasp of what Hunter has to offer by watching him this week than by going by anything he's done the first half of the season. Personally, I want to free up a roster spot in 12 Geeks and with so many marginal WR4 types I'm going to cut one of them. Before this switch at QB, I had decided the body out the door was going to be Hunter's but I'm in no rush so I'm going to postpone a decision and keep him around. If Hunter shows enough to stick this week, it's either going to be James Jones, Wes Welker, or Cecil Shorts out the door.
Gepetto 988 Posted October 24, 2014 I just traded for Justin Hunter (and C. Patterson) and my heart about stopped. Boom?! Thought he got severely hurt. I now have Hunter in both of my leagues. No need to start him though because of my other WRs and Hunter has to prove it first to be a regular starter anyway; he's ok for spot starts. Agree this new QB and Hunter's talent and usage in the Titans offense is going to produce some very good results going forward.
