    I have been saying this for years. They have a willfully undiagnosed mental illness and I explain it like this. If my kid told me they had to puke after eating to feel right the doctors would not affirm this. They would not tell him it is ok to puke after every meal. Yet somehow if I brought the same kid to them and said he does not feel like a boy they slap a dress on him and call him Sally? bulllshit. That is a failure of the medical establishment, My sons female cousin was going through a lot of mental issues and tried to kill herself a few times. The last time she went to the U of M and they convinced her that she was a boy. She started saying things like " I am a boy and I always have been" The thing is she was a fat slob. She got put on a WLD and lost 70 lbs, suddenly a boy took interest in her and she is no longer trans. I think a lot of this is self confidence issues.

    Trump isn't "dismantling trans rights." Trannies have always had every right that everyone else has had and then until recently more on top. If Canadian judges don't like US policy barring them from female spaces and sports, they can feel free to let the tranny stay in Canada.

    100% accurate. Give the gay community credit. They just wanted to love who they loved. Yeah it met with some resistance at first but over time most people were fine with it. But the kid thing with the trans community was too much

This radical trans group has over half a million followers, and is also recruiting military vets to help form trans army , for violent rebellion in the US, this doesn’t violate social media policies.     Trans have zero to do with being gay. The gays are actual men and women who just like their own sex. Trans are men who want to be women and women who want to be men. Totally different. Not sure why they lump them together. The gays deserve better.

    I'm not sure I agree with your assessment: "And it's not just trannies; once you open the door to trannies in women's spaces, you open the door for every pervert out there. Trannies of all variations can use the men's room and leave the women alone. Problem solved." Grammatically, I don't believe "every pervert" necessarily applies to trans folks. It's more what I said -- every abuser regardless of orientation, some of whom may be trans, most (most likely) aren't really trans but using this opportunity to do bad things, because there are a lot more of those types. Had he said "every other pervert", I would agree he's lumping all trans into "pervert." That all being said, I understand the spirit of your post. As I said earlier, people on "my side" tend to say a boy is a boy and a girl is a girl, or that trans doesn't exist, and IMO whether or not they are true, they immediately shut down meaningful dialog.

    This isn't true. Suicide rate after transitioning isn't "directly" related to their lack of acceptance. It's related to them realizing that surgeries didn't fix what was wrong, they realize that they are now sterile and want to de-trans, OR they have such intense pain from their surgeries (this happens FREQUENTLY to male to female trans). They also have a higher incidence of depression and PTSD. Which contributes to their suicide rates. They are told that medications, sterility, and surgery will "make them feel better" and many find that this isn't the case. You cannot say that lack of acceptance is THE reason. They need mental help support and medication for the rest of their lives. Transitioning is the "cure" they look to for gender dysphoria (another subject that links have been posted about ad nauseam). Here's another: https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11063965/ So, let's keep pushing medication, surgeries and other "treatments" on kids so they don't kill themselves....only to have them do it anyways because their new vagina causes them intense pain. This controversy reflects diverse perspectives within the medical and research communities, emphasizing the need for a more comprehensive understanding of the psychological outcomes of gender-affirming procedures.     Not that I'm aware of. If I implied that, it was a mistake. I'll also add that in the case of Brianna, I've only known of her as Brianna, not when she was Brian or whatever her original name was. I first heard of her when she did a rebuttal to J.K. Rowling's interview series on The Free Press regarding trans people (also published there). I didn't agree with many of her points, but she presented them intelligently.

    I don't care and am not talking about specific people who will never be satisfied, nor am I claiming that the rest of her statement covers EVERY main hot button issue regarding trans. My point was that you cherry picked their last statement about what the conversation can change to while leaving out the fact that the very person who made the statement has just finished explaining a list of things that they feel would help get us to that point.

    Not really. You tried a "gotcha" with the focking question because yes, the answer is yes, it makes you ghey. But sexual preference is different than all the gender identity stuff, so the question really has nothing to do with what he chooses to call this person. I personally feel that trans is people playing make believe. Yet if I interact with someone I am going to call them she/her/miss etc or he/him/sir etc based on what I think they look like. I'm not the least bit concerned with not calling them their preferred pronouns, my point is I'm going to call them something and I may get it wrong compared to their biological sex. Doesn't make me ghey. I would also call this person a she if I just had a passing interaction. My reasoning is not as nuanced as Jerrys but I think it's fairly easy to understand unless someone needs to be purposely insensitive just for the sake of it.

    Neither one of you can read. I don’t just think “trans are gross” I don’t think they exist at all. It’s a synonym for gay or lesbian. Just sickos wearing the opposite sex clothes wanting everyone else to play along with their illness. It’s no different than a trans species or trans racial person, just a bunch of made up horsesh!t. You “conservatives” that even entertain this conversation like it’s a legitimate thing cracks me up.

    Wow! That's next gen incompetence right there. Like I said before, you need stop because no one has ever been more wrong on any topic, ever. #1 "Sports" and "Women's Sports"? There's a women's and men's division already, you can't make them more inclusive unless you allow men to play in women's sports and women to play in men's. #2 Gaines said suggested to have a trans category. Biles apparently agrees with her. I don't think it's a stupid idea, I just don't think it'll work because of... a) biological women will not want to compete against biological men and 2) there wouldn't be enough representation in each sport. If I grant you that I am an idiot, then what does make you... AS: 1) Gaines and Biles agree that men shouldn't be allowed in sports. 2) Gaines and Biles agree that a possible solution would be to make them their own category. 3) Gaines was an actual victim (men playing in women's sports were NOT). 4) Other biological women were and are, actual victims, not the men playing in women's sports). So, Biles and Gaines agree.. Biles calls out Gaines and acts like a douche, and you agree with her. So, what's that make you and Biles?

    Yeah I love how they keep arguing “oh we’re not homophobic we’re just anti-trans, as if there’s a difference, and then bigot @iam90sbaby comes in and blows away their whole argument. @iam90sbaby is the most honest anti-trans person in this forum IMO. He doesn’t offer any of the mentally ill arguments or “we’re castrating children!” BS. He doesn’t try to claim science is on his side like @jerryskids does. He just comes right out and says “Trans is gross”. Which is at the root of ALL of the arguments that most of the folks hear make.
