RastaBombers 0 Posted October 26, 2005 Hmmm...still no love for Rudi. And CJ nowhere in the top 20. Link to the rest not yet working, so I can't see where you have him, but I figure he's good for a score.

Dan 66 Posted October 26, 2005 Actually, I think the Chad Johnson omission was purposeful. Green Bay has consistently and effectively limited the #1 receiver. Given that TJ Houshmandzadeh is a very viable option in that case, it's very realistic that he will be the receiver with the bigger game. Chad Johnson was virtually taken out of the game by Ike Taylor last week, so it is not inconceivable. Just my thoughts.

Mad Brad 0 Posted October 26, 2005 Dude get that humble pie made up and ready for Sunday... Chad Johnson is gonna biotch slap the GB Slackers so bad... He's gonna put 3 check marks up on "NO" in his locker after this week... Ainsley you need to contact me, I need some of the stuff your gettin for myself MB

iamroboticus 0 Posted October 26, 2005 Well, I sure hope you know what you're talking about, Ainsley, as I have Lamont, LT, and Jimmy Smith - all high on your rankings. I'm counting on them to pull me through another Bulger-less week. Hopefully you're wrong about CJ, though I think it's a valid point other posters have been making about GB shutting down opposing teams' #1 WRs.

Not really, if that TD wouldn't of been called back, he would had a 100+ and a TD. Um. The touchdown was called back, because he wasn't in bounds. But that really wasn't the point. 47 yards came on one catch on a drive that was played against the "prevent nothing" defense, when the outcome was already determined. I know, for fantasy you'll take that, but do you honestly think that Green Bay will be playing a prevent because they're up by 3 TDs?

FrankRizzo 0 Posted October 26, 2005 Where is Steven Jackson on that list? Not even top-15? I unfortunately agree not having SJAX on the list .... I too think he might be in for a bad day against Jags.
FrankRizzo 0 Posted October 26, 2005 I'm not sure why McNabb is always high on the list .. been very subaverage past few weeks. I probably will play Delhomme against Minn instead. Either receivers are not getting open or McNabb isn't seeing the field very well (he sure does have a ton of time .. line playing well). He does throw a lot maybe giving enough opportunites to grant a high ranking.

mobb_deep 921 Posted October 26, 2005 Just wanted to pop in and acknowledge that you seem to have one of the more accurate projections out of the weekly projection crew. Last week I thought you were wrong about Rod Smith and Brunnell. You ended up being spot on with Brunnell and pretty far off with Rod Smith. This week however I think Rod Smith will have a good day against the Igg's and I really like your Jimmy Smith projection. He should have a huge day.

idlewild 6 Posted October 26, 2005 Wow. Julius Jones at 6. I totally agree! Seriously, are all the other lower ranked RBs that are actually going to PLAY just going to lose fumbles repeatedly? JJ = :bench:

bigums 0 Posted October 27, 2005 Ainsley: What makes you confident in JJ and Cadillac? Local talk radio here doesn't sound promising for the 'lac to play this week. Gruden's tone during his comments this afternoon sounded very dismal. Tuna didn't sound very positive about JJ playing this week either. Props for going out on a limb. I hope you're wrong about Al Harris, though.

I hope you're wrong about Al Harris, though. Injuries are what makes this so tough. Assuming they would play, this is where I rank them. Nobody in their right mind thought Moss was going to suit up last week and he still managed to haul in a TD. I make it a rule to give any player listed as questionable or better on the injury report the benefit of a doubt. I cannot discount a player simply because it is speculated he will not play.
