Goldmember 0 Posted March 19, 2006 #3 Titans select Matt Linhart (surprised?) #4 Jets select - D'angelo Williams thats right, someone is going to have to take over for Martin and it's not going to be Houston or Blaylock.
Portis26 0 Posted March 19, 2006 #4 Jets select - D'angelo Williams thats right, someone is going to have to take over for Martin and it's not going to be Houston or Blaylock. won't happen goldmember - Jets are rebuilding and have 3 capable backs with Houston, Blaylock, and Martin. They wont' do a RB this year -- they'll take Ferguson but we are having fun with it - so I am going with your pick
SmartassBoiler 0 Posted March 19, 2006 The Saints' pick doesn't make sense. With Charles Grant and Will Smith already at DE, why would they want Mario? Ferguson would make a LOT more sense for them there since Gandy is 35 years old.

I'll go ahead for you and pick D'Brickashaw Ferguson T Packer rebuild the line and Ferguson is perfect and too valuable to pass up at #

Deadpool 0 Posted March 19, 2006 Thanks! 10. Arizona - Vernon Davis - TE Maryland I would have went with L. White here, but the signing of Edge and the pick of Arrington last year, they really don't need White.

Walter34 3 Posted March 19, 2006 With great tackles already there in Tauscher and Clifton this pick makes even less sense. agreed - Tauscher and Clifton are not old. The Pack need interior lineman, not tackles. AJ hawk is a no brainer for them. Maybe an RB.

Raider 84 29 Posted March 19, 2006 DeAngelo is awesome, but I doubt that a team will select a rb that high with the talent that is out there. He should be a top 10 pick, but I think he will slip to mid to late first.

Portis26 0 Posted March 19, 2006 So whoever is the first to spit a players name out for the team OTC, thats who the team takes? Gay. So why not get up off the couch, and make something happen, instead of judging from the sidlines. Whne talking football, nothing can ever be "gay" to me. I do appreciate your input and will take that into consideration the next time I try to add life to the board -
49ER MAN 0 Posted March 19, 2006 The Saints' pick doesn't make sense. With Charles Grant and Will Smith already at DE, why would they want Mario? Ferguson would make a LOT more sense for them there since Gandy is 35 years old. I've heard the Saints, if they stay at 2, would take Mario Williams presuming some team doesn't jump to the 1 spot to grab him. Remember the Saints took Will Smith a couple of years ago when they had Darren Howard and Charles Grant so this doesn't suprise me at all. I would agree taking Ferguson to solidify the offensive line would help out Brees and McAllister but from what I know, they really like Williams.

Vikings4ever 496 Posted March 20, 2006 Good call! If he does fall that far, this would be a great pickup for the Vikes. Yep. The Vikes need to find a (new) QB of the future, preferably this year so BJ can tutor him. And I'd much rather have Cutler than Jacobs or Crody.

Deadpool 0 Posted March 20, 2006 Vikes don't need Cutler. THey are chasing down Joey Harrington as we speak! The Vikes want to get better right? It would be. But there is NO way he makes it past Detroit. J I dunno. I would think that as young as McCown is, he might be there guy of the future. Anyone they draft to play QB would be a long-term project behind Kitna and McCown.
Darb33 0 Posted March 20, 2006 Cutler is not going to fall to 17. Why does Dallas go WR when they just brought in Owens? The rest looks pretty solid.
