TIKI-BARBERS-BARBER 0 Posted April 10, 2006 Another let down. The Vito thing was funny and no way Tony beats the Muscle guy in real life. Still a let down.
redtodd 7 Posted April 10, 2006 Yeah, it has been a bit slow. The Allegra comments from Christopher were pretty funny though. Phil is starting to make his movements to be boss.

congressmanreality 1 Posted April 10, 2006 I thought it was a great episode, the Fall of Johnny Sack, the rise of whats his name....First Tony tells "whats his name", NO, he wont do the favor for Johnny...then he sees Johnny Cry....obviously he's lost all power in the NY family....then Tony Orchestrates that azz kicking of the big italian dude...yea thats right, the kid was in on it...great episode....just great... swirvenirvin 25 Posted April 10, 2006 I thought this was a damn good episode.. Vito pretty much offing himself for being a h0m0 Johnny Sac getting embarrassed and crying while being taken away from jail Bobby dunking Tony getting all pissed off cause he is fat, and everyone else is strong then beating his driver Naked chicks and boobies There is something up with those arabs who want an automatic Then Tony and Chris trying to figure out what is going to go down with them killing the guy Johnny Sac wants dead. This was one of the better episodes I can remeber. There has never been action all 50 minutes I'm not really sure what you are looking for more than that
buffalobillsffl2003 0 Posted April 10, 2006 Didn't Chris and Tony say they wanted to bring a guy over from Naples to kill that mayor?

Curious if the Arab connection is what will bring the family down or a story arc involving Christopher (remember his conversation with the agent in Satriale's) or maybe a little of both. Also, if it's not the Arab connection then the hit that Johnny Sac asked T to do will probably come around and blow up causing a NY/NJ war. Regardless I am still kept wanting more and anxious to see how things play out.

kutulu 1,676 Posted April 10, 2006 The first 35 minutes or so was slow....it was still good, but def. not action packed. Thought it was funny how Johnny Sac called the marshalls "heartless bastards" while he was planning a hit at his daughter's wedding.

Thought it was funny how Johnny Sac called the marshalls "heartless bastards" while he was planning a hit at his daughter's wedding. It's a riot how "the mafia" can do anything they want, yet expect everyone else to live by different standards. Just like the current president and his administration. EMoney 0 Posted April 10, 2006 Another let down. Still a let down. You say the same crap every week. The show would be one killing after another and you'd still whine. Stop posting about it if you hate the show so much. Your the dumbass that pays for HBO and can't even enjoy a show.
fricker66 93 Posted April 10, 2006 I also enjoyed this episode. The focus on the Sacrimoni family entertained me -- I laughed out loud when Johnny Sac's skinny daughter said "All this family thinks about is food." Great casting throwing in an anorexic chick to play the youngest daughter.

TD Ryan2 316 Posted April 10, 2006 good episode. - the look on Tony's face after he beat up the muscle-head driver was excellent... in a Jack/Shining, "Hi honey! I'm Hooooome!" sorta' way. - The theme of identity is huge in this season. Seemingly every major character is struggling with some sort of "Who Am I": Paully with his mother/aunt Vito with the gay secret life Tony with the Kevin Finnerty, religion, quest for self-identity Silvio with the boss vs. second-in-command Carmella with the money/mob/rich lifestyle the subtelty of the show is what makes it so good. The idea that EVERYONE from a mobster to the rich-kid Barone to the building inspector that plays the horses (Vito mentioned him last night) may have problems that nobody will ever know about... or that they HOPE nobody ever knows about. - Any chance Johnny Sack turns on Tony if/when Tony wacks Rusty? John's obviously not handling his incarceration well... maybe he cuts a deal with the Feds and gives up Tony for some leniency? - how quickly Christopher has gotten past Aid's murder. The scene with Chrissy and the strippers was pretty telling. - I've got to believe they're setting up some big confrontation with the Arab guys. In doing so, they allow some sort of all out war without destroying the relationships/heirarchy of NY&NJ.

brinett9 0 Posted April 10, 2006 - Any chance Johnny Sack turns on Tony if/when Tony wacks Rusty? John's obviously not handling his incarceration well... maybe he cuts a deal with the Feds and gives up Tony for some leniency? That works. 1. Tony has Rusty whacked. 2. The NY organization finds out T is behind it. 3. Johnny Sac pretends he didn't ask for it because his leverage is failing bad enough as it is. 4. NY/NJ war! SigEp316 0 Posted April 10, 2006 good episode....TD gives the best analysis every week. The kid was in on Tony whipping his ass, the Arab thing is going to be bad....some terrorist act is gonna go down and it's gonna come back to Christopher and Tony is going to go ballistic. I'm glad Vito is going to off himself, even though I had hoped he would get whacked...(I laughed out loud when I saw him in that leather outfit and hat). Johnny Sac is done in power....Rusty gets wacked and Phil moves up the food chain. Phil has always been sneaky and I don't think any of the NJ family trusts him or respects him. I think this is the ultimate breakdown between the families, not necessarily the hit on Rusty, but when Phil rises to power.
brinett9 0 Posted April 10, 2006 The kid was in on Tony whipping his ass... That's what I was thinking. The fight was staged. I'm not sure. I was half expecting the arabs to open fire at the wedding. In a perfect world...

TD Ryan2 316 Posted April 10, 2006 it sucks knowing this is the final season.. we're all just waiting for something bad to happen to Tony. Christopher is going to get killed very soon. what makes you think that something earth-shattering has to happen to Tony? "closure" isn't the strength of the Sopranos; in fact, it's what some people hate so much about it. Chase doesn't spoon-feed you all the answers and one could argue that his method is more realistic and believable. Life doesn't wrap itself up into neatly packaged one hour stories. IMO, the writers will be a lot more subtle with the ending. They are already establishing the cyclical and inescapable nature of the life that Tony leads. What will happen to Tony isn't really a mystery: jail, killed, or an old age/uncle junior type seem to be the only reasonable outcomes. And either way, Tony will NEVER have any sort of peace in his life; no matter how big of a mob-boss he becomes, there is no peace & tranquility for him aside from a few moments he steals in a lawn chair by his pool. And perhaps the 2-Tony's theme will become even more evident: Bad-Ass-Tony is back (and we saw it on his face in that mirror right before he puked blood) but after his near-death experience, he know he doesn't have a choice to become a "born again" or rejuvinated man: cyclical and inescapable is the life he leads. But the same may not be said for his kids. Perhaps Tony becomes an even more violent criminal all the while telling his kids "don't do what I've done". He becomes a monster so that his children can one day have peace: marrying off Meadow to an upstanding dentist and who-knows-what for AJ.
Mark Buffington 3 Posted April 10, 2006 I don't think the fight was staged at all? Why do you guys think that? Tony looked around the room and felt a disconnect with his "family". He needed to remind everyone who was boss and that the hospital stay did not weaken him. Also, I thought it was another grat episode. They did a good job portraying him going "back to work".
