It's gonna hurt them, especially with the XBox 360 being out a year ahead and being $100 cheaper. It's even arguable whether the PS3 will be any better than the 360. No, the package also had a $50 extra controller, a $20 faceplate, and a $30 XBox Live subscription. So the system itself cost the MSRP of $399. For now I'm happy with my GameCube, and probably will be until I've finished the new Zelda (which hasn't even been realesaed yet).
