Mike FF Today 726 Posted April 21, 2006 NFL Draft Contest Alright, let's see who can do the best job at picking the top ten. We also have four bonus questions worth 5 points a piece to help add to your point total. Rules and Guidelines can be found at the link above. We'll be giving away a copy of Matt Waldman's Scouting Portfolio and a copy of the 2006 Cheatsheet Compiler/Draft Buddy to the winner. I'll dig through my closet and see if I can find some FF Today T-shirts for those of you that finish in the top ten. Note: We do require a separate login from the forums to access the contest. Those of you that have used the "My FF Today" feature in the past: Login Here Or you may create an account to participate in the contest. Good luck to everyone! Mike MacGregor 20 Posted April 21, 2006 To clarify the first two bonus questions, the trade up/down must take place after the NFL draft starts (which is after our entry deadline), since you can edit your picks right up until then. Also, a trade up is considered any move which lands a team higher in the 1st round than where they are currently, or into the 1st round from outside. For example, when the Bills drafted Lee Evans and J.P. Losman ( ), I would consider the trade with Dallas a move up in the 1st round to select Losman. A trade down is any move which lands a team lower in the 1st round, or right out of the 1st round from where they currently sit. If for example Indy trades right out of the 1st to the early 2nd to select their future fantasy star RB, I would consider that a trade down for Indy. Clear as mud? Good. t.j 35 Posted April 26, 2006 Submitted my picks. I've gotta say, I don't like the bonus questions. I don't like the limited choices on the trade-up part, and I don't like the Denver-specific question. Otherwise, it should be a fun contest! Last year my entry was pretty solid but I had Rolle/Jones switched, and I got screwed by the top 10 teams overlooking Merriman. I can't wait for the draft to start so I can post my psychic picks! Mike MacGregor 20 Posted April 27, 2006 What's not to like about the bonus questions? We eclipsed 100 entries last night. Assuming all works as it should, a leaderboard should automatically pop up at 12:00 noon ET Saturday so everyone can check everyone else's picks.

Sweetness_34 0 Posted April 28, 2006 I am in Mike - Can we add more choices to the trade down and trade up question? How about a choice called "other" and we can choose whichever team we want there?
Mike MacGregor 20 Posted April 28, 2006 Mike - Can we add more choices to the trade down and trade up question? How about a choice called "other" and we can choose whichever team we want there? I can't change any of the options now that the contest has been up for a week and a half. Everyone gets the same options. Maybe none will pan but just pick what you think is the best one. t.j 35 Posted April 29, 2006 Didn't get the mock adjusted in time. Almost the same as mine, which is why I don't like my entry now. On the bright side, if the Titans take Young, I'll have you beat by pick 3.

I rushed to change mine, put my new picks in as fast as I could, hit submit, and when it took my entry, by the time it re-loaded the page it was already saying the deadline had passed. At first I didn't even think it took my entry, but it looks like I was just in time. And the Houston Texans are FOR REAL on the clock!

Erb047 0 Posted April 30, 2006 So am I the winner? I shouldve stayed with my gut and left Hawk to the Pack and Davis to the 9ers, but I switched em thinking Favre would want Davis...Oh well bonus saved me I guess.... edit - im erbs, btw....
Mike MacGregor 20 Posted April 30, 2006 Did I score it correctly? I didn't have time for much review. Still, the scores are unofficial. We need to wait until the draft is over to finalize the last bonus question.
