What to do in Houston?

Recommended Posts

Besides hanging out with Rusty and TRF, what is there to do in Houston?

Places to eat? Bars to visit?

I'm staying near the Space Complex and have a tour scheduled through work.

What the heck is there to do at night?

'stros game on Wednesday night.

TIA

did you pack your leaderhosens or however the hell you spell it

I'm not sure the local cowboys would appreciate a 6'3" guy running around in suede shorts. I just picture Deliverance.

Actually, if you're staying by the space center, you're pretty far out of Houston proper. You're closer to Kemah, which is touristy, but fun in a cheesy, quaint kind of way. At least there's the Cadillac Bar and Grill on the boardwalk. Great view of the bay as you get wasted on margaritas.

1. Save up a really big pee.

2. Lie face up on the hotel bed.

3. Pee straight up and see if you can hit the ceiling.

The nerdy people I'm with are going there tonight. I'd rather wait by the phone for Rusty to call than spend the day AND night with them.

If you got a rental car, you can come meet me for some happy hour action in town. You are like 45 minutes away. I work in the Galleria area.
