Grizzly 0 Posted April 29, 2006 What are the chances of the saints getting...... The Jets 4, 29, or 4, 35 or...... The Packers 5, 36 + Walker or 5, 67 + Walker
IAMWood 6 Posted April 29, 2006 Who do the Saints want now? Gotta be Reggie right?
nobody 2,674 Posted April 29, 2006 I actually read on this site somewhere that Reggie Bush graded out higher than any player they've ever scouted. I still think they trade out to the Jets or the Packers.
Alimony Tony 0 Posted April 29, 2006 Sean Payton was just on WWL (Saints flagship) in New Orleans. Said Reggie Bush is the Saints pick. He gave no hint of any deals working. Gotta believe he just ain't talkin. Saints are in all likelyhood shopping the pick for a windfall as most believe they are.
bigmarc27 24 Posted April 29, 2006 Alright FALCONS FANS! Who do we take in round 2? I would like for someone like Ko Simpson or Maurice Drew at that spot. I'm also holdling out hope that the Falcons can swing a really good deal for Schaub.
nobody 2,674 Posted April 29, 2006 Looks like the Saints might get a crack at Winston Justice at 34. That would be pretty great. Then they could draft Dominique Byrd in the 3rd and have all the Trojans.
nobody 2,674 Posted April 29, 2006 Saints have 4 choices here. Winston Justice Eric Winston Dqwell Jackson Marcus McNeil

Orgazmo 2 Posted April 29, 2006 Jimmy Williams Originally projected in the top 15. Its like they never lost their 1st round pick.
bigmarc27 24 Posted April 29, 2006 Jimmy Williams Originally projected in the top 15. Its like they never lost their 1st round pick. That's exactly what my dad said when I just called him. That's who they were targetting a few months ago before the Abraham deal went down. I'm pretty happy with this (assuming we didn't give up too much). Abraham and Williams will upgrade the defense greatly.
whoisjgalt 0 Posted April 29, 2006 Jimmy Williams Originally projected in the top 15. Its like they never lost their 1st round pick. I figured it was Jimmy, but also wondered if the Duckett experiment might be over instead.
Orgazmo 2 Posted April 29, 2006 Abraham and Williams will upgrade the defense greatly. Just friggin slightly. Hope Jimmy is up to the task of chasing Bush around the field.
Walter34 3 Posted April 29, 2006 Jimmy Williams Originally projected in the top 15. Its like they never lost their 1st round pick. So Atl has Deangelo, Ty Hill and Williams at CB?
bigmarc27 24 Posted April 29, 2006 I figured it was Jimmy, but also wondered if the Duckett experiment might be over instead. I think they'll definitely take a RB in this draft; I still think it'll be Maurice Drew if he's available later on.
Orgazmo 2 Posted April 29, 2006 So Atl has Deangelo, Ty Hill and Williams at CB? Ty went to St Louis

MahSoonerz 0 Posted April 29, 2006 Wow. Roman Harper to the Saints in the 2nd. I had him available to mah Panthers in round 3. A good pick but maybe a round too early.
nobody 2,674 Posted April 29, 2006 And they don't have a third round selection, so that's pretty much it.
Trainer1 0 Posted April 29, 2006 What did the Saints get to drop down 9 spots. To not take Winston or McNeil here to help out that o-line is just crazy. Brees needs protection.
Grizzly 0 Posted April 29, 2006 New Orleans got Jeff Faine a center a first rounder in 2003.
Trainer1 0 Posted April 29, 2006 New Orleans got Jeff Faine a center a first rounder in 2003. So they lose Probowler Bentley to CLE. Now we get their backup to go up in the draft. Great!
bigmarc27 24 Posted April 30, 2006 Jerious Norwood. He'll have a very good shot at #2 right now; Duckett might not make it to the start of the season. This very well could be Atlanta's starting RB opening day in '07 since Dunn's contract gets way too expensive after this year.
Wildman 0 Posted April 30, 2006 Yep, sweet pick here. I thought he was overvalued as a possible late first-mid-second pick, but this is different.
football_scooter 0 Posted April 30, 2006 Surprised to see the 'Aints without their own topic considering that's where Bush went....McAllister dynasty owners just collectively sh!t themselves.
