George Carlin 1 Posted May 4, 2006 What's the over/under on him getting shanked in Prison?
NewbieJr 541 Posted May 4, 2006 During the monthlong penalty phase jurors heard from an unrepentant Moussaoui, who said he is willing to kill Americans "any time, anywhere." Well, he'll be seeing quite a few Americans in prison. Good luck with that.
Mark Buffington 3 Posted May 4, 2006 What's the over/under on him getting shanked in Prison? Next to impossible. He'll be virtually isolated.

dcOne 2 Posted May 4, 2006 Uh, did you read the article? If given the chance, someone will allow him to accidentally end up in a population of "general" prisoners...I would hope.
Strike 5,487 Posted May 4, 2006 Some. Why? It would have been good of you to digest the following before posting: "Once in prison, Moussaoui will be in lockdown for 23 hours of every day, with one hour of recreation daily. He'll also spend that one hour alone."

shovelheadt 71 Posted May 4, 2006 He's in Super Max, no contact with anyone, ever. Just rot and die. "THE" Super Max at that. Even his one hour a day is alone. Saw a nice show on that prison. Other than getting sick, even the guards don't have to be near him.

It's easy for him to be all high-and-mighty around the victims and reporters. Let hide a video camera in his cell and see how he's doing after, oh let's say 15 years. I'm guessing no-too-greta. I wonder what teh Hindu/Muslim/whatever he is view on suicide is?

Patriotsfatboy1 1,432 Posted May 4, 2006 Interesting little tidbit on the two guys who were responsible for 9/11 in that they will never see the inside of a courtroom. http://www.cnn.com/2006/LAW/05/04/otsc.ber...obin/index.html Well, to me, the real tragedy here is that I think it's very unlikely that the people really responsible for 9/11, Khalid Shaikh Mohammed and Ramzi Binalshibh, who were the operational planners -- it was their idea, their execution -- they're in American custody, and I don't think they're ever going to see the inside of an American courtroom. I think most Americans would be surprised by that. Why will they not be put inside -- why will they not see inside an American courtroom? Very possibly because they have been treated in such a way that their evidence would be inadmissible. The New York Times said that Khalid Shaikh Mohammed has been water-boarded, which is a technique that is somewhere between abuse and torture, where you make somebody put -- you put somebody's head into the water, and you make them think they're drowning. I wonder what Jeff's opinion is here in terms of why they won't be inside an American courtroom. COOPER: Yes, Jeff, I mean, will these guys just be sort of disappeared? TOOBIN: I think they are going to be disappeared. I think they will never return to American soil, for just the reasons Peter was suggesting, that, you know, the -- the protections of civil liberties that are enshrined in our system are not something that have been honored in these cases. And maybe they should not have been honored. Maybe the circumstances called for it. But ... the treatment is indefensible. The evidence was collected in a way that comported with military and intelligence procedures, but not with criminal justice procedures, and our government would prefer not to deal with them. Maybe we should publicize this a little more to the rest of the world and let them know that we mean business. Slippery slope.

Slippery slope. I suspect it's known within the terrorist community. I mean, at one of their monthly mixers I'm sure one terrorist has said to the other, in between discussions of 73 virgins, "Have you seen Khalid or Ramzi lately?" ArnieBragg 1 Posted May 4, 2006 Real tough guy... Of the 12 high value targets housed by the CIA, only one did not require water boarding before he talked. Ramzi bin al-Shibh broke down in tears after he was walked past the cell of Khalid Sheik Mohammed, the operational planner for Sept. 11. Visibly shaken, he started to cry and became as cooperative as if he had been tied down to a water board, sources said.

BiPolarBear 485 Posted May 4, 2006 Next to impossible. He'll be virtually isolated. Yep. In case no one has figured it out yet: Moussaoui won. There was a guy on Rush Limbaugh just now who gaurded high profile famous inmates for 26 years. He will be isolated from other prisoners and will never get hurt. We will spend more money on him than we do our own school kids. Do not judge his "suffering" in your terms. He doesn't want to go to a ball game. He doesn't want to have a big house. He wants to wake up in the morning and gloat about his part in killing a bunch of Americans. He will love thinking about how the relatives of the victums are suffering everyday for the rest of their lives. All he wants is our pain. If he lives 40 years in his cell, every day will be a good day and we pay for his free ride.

In his own twisted mind, that would have been the same as piloting a plane into the towers. He would have expected the virgins, the lifetime martyr honors, the whole ball of wax. He may gloat for a week, or a month, or maybe even a year, but can you imagine forty years without seeing another human? He already seems a little out of his mind. I would think a few years in isolation could drive a sane man out of his mind. Hard telling what it will do to this crackpot. I think getting the Jeffrey Dahmer broomstick treatment will seem like a walk in the park when compared to the loneliness/misery that Moussaoui will be facing. He gets the virgins whenever he goes so that little bonus is still in play. He gets to live everyday enjoying the pain he has caused. I really don't think that will get old. He knows he is a hero to millions of people. He even gets to watch us cry about our losses on TV. He will go from his solitary heaven to walking with god as far as he is conserned. There are plenty of kooks just like him that are willing to blow themselves up to take out a couple of Christians. He got to mess around with us and withold information that cuased the deaths of thosands of Christians. Everyday is a holiday for that guy. If you asked him, he would tell you the same thing.
