sump pump???

Where would you pump the water? Here in Oregon, it is illegal to pump storm water into the sewer system.

sump pump???

sump pumps could sell for $1000 here now and people would pay. Home Cheapot is fresh out and I imagine Lowes is too, not that I could get to one from here anyway with many of the roads out.

All sold out everywhere. Have been for a few days. Sort of like generators when the power goes out.

That is poor inspection right there. You can't have the tank within 10 feet of your own house, nevermind your neighbor's.

You don't have to rub it in to make him feel bad. jeesh. You could have at least said you are in the same boat as him (no pun intended).
