You guys keep up those craptastic picks! The only pick I like in the last few are the Mason Pick. Jocstrap's team has moved out of the cellar and has started the climb to victory  .

Whoever takes the first def or kicker must buy us all a six pack of choice. Gatorade that is :ninja:

cmon...we always have to have stragglers dont we? we need one day where everyone shows up!

Yes, its extremely frustrating. I really thought we were about to get on a little bit of a roll. Im sorry, I know we have a 12 hour limit on this thing during the day, but at night, something's gotta give. Im up for moving the evening time limit to an hour or so, or whatever you guys feel is appropriate. I just do not have the patience to deal with this after taking 4 days off.

Yip...........youre hangin' around. Id love to see you get to make your picks sometime tonight. Thanks for staying with it.

I'll be the first one picking a kicker in July.

I'll send the gatorade, but I'm not paying the postage

Isn't Parrot on vacation in Mickey World? I don't feel like scrolling the last 8 pages looking for what he said....but who knows if/when he'll show up tonight.

I'm off to bed also. I'll be checking back in around 4:30 AM pacific time before work. By 5:10 I'll be making my picks regardless if Parrot makes his choice. His twelve hours will have expired with no communication.

Sorry, Yip. The 'no communication' thing absolutely wears me out. You make your picks if and when the time comes at the 12 hour mark.

What I just cant figure is why he was on this site and in this room about 5 hours ago, and has not made a pick.......??

10 TDs??? <_< thats it...Im checkin' you in to Shady Acres tomorrow.........

Look at his numbers from last year.

Look at his numbers with the Titans.

Now inagine a coach who's coveted a passing game for years and will finally have one.

10 TDs. Mark it down. Tell your friends. I love mason this year.

You guys can bash the shiot out of me all focking night. :D I just waited a whole damn weekend with no focking picks. Sorry. I had stuff to take care of before my my trip. And honestly, I put my daughter down to sleep and fell asleep in her bed with her...freakin sue me. I'm still well within my fraking 12 hours that you agreed on. :)

On a side note. I got Toshiba to pay for my high speed in Florida, so I will be able to check at least once or twice a day to see where we are at in the draft without sending my picks in.

Ill be back to 'bash' later...........its a little too early right now. But, hint, hint.........get a list together of guys youd like on your team for the next 5-7 rounds.............

im going out of town the next two weekends, so lets try to knock it out on the weekday nights...ill be sending picks to someone and it will be tough for another guy to make each pick for me that isnt even part of the draft with 2 minutes a pick. just keep doing what we're doing, and i know its frustrating.

i like my team so far, and i dont want it to get focked up because of one vacation weekend in JUNE.

Well, looks like a few picks in...

I was hoping Manning would slip a little further. 5th round is pretty low, but I guess you had to take him there since I woulda grabbed him in the 6th.

Guys, I'll be out of the office and/or in meetings for most of the day, but i will be around to pick around 6:00 CA time.

I might get a chance to check in around 1:00, but no guarentees - I have a conference to attend.

I will try not to hold it up too much. I'm not comfortable leaving a list with anyone since I have no idea who I want, who will be there in 7 picks, and I'm really not gonna be out that long anyway. If some of these guys can take 36 hours to pick, I can pick within 4 or 5, so in advance, I'll ask you to gimme a break here.

At least I'm giving a head's up. :o

*Homer pick alert*

Seriously though....I just think it's cool to have 2 guys from my home team to root for on the squad. I'd like to think (and say) that even if i didn't live in Miami I would have taken both Chambers and C Pepp in the respective rounds I took them......if nothing else cause I think regardless of where your from it's obvious to see Nick Saban has the Phins moving in the right direction. C Pepp was once a consensus first round pick...and I think he's got the opportunity to "rejuvenate his career" sort of speak this year in Miami. I could have gone a safer route here but I just like his upside too much. Obviously I'm banking on the C Pepp to Chambers combo being lethal this year....which I honestly think it will. Time will tell.

As for the last pick (5th round) I was torn between Mason, McNabb, Shockey, and Branch. I passed on McNabb cause I knew I could get C Pepp on the way back....thus the Mason pick. Both Shockey and McNabb flew off the board right after I picked so it was wishful thinking hoping one would get back to me....but I'm happy with my decision because with Branch also getting taken I think it's safe to say I wouldn't have gotten Mason either. After those 2 I have a big drop in my projections to the next best WR. I'm happy with a combo of Mason and C Pepp as opposed to McNabb and a much lesser #3 WR.

On the contrary, I think CPep is borderline incompetent, and Moss made him worthy of a 1st round pick for years. No Moss, no great CPep.

He can't run like he used to, as he's more brittle, and the wear & tear has started to take it's toll.

for the round taken, he's a decent enough pick, but I'm avoiding him like the plague until he shows me he's worth anything in preseason.

Good luck though. <_<

I'll only reply with this....Chambers compares very favorably from a skill set perspective to Moss. They are both "jump ball" type of receivers....which is why I think Culpepper will return to his Moss-type stats.

Also...the rest of the supporting cast in Miami is better than what he had in Minnesota in my opinion. But I agree that C Pepp isn't a great QB unless you give him great weapons. He's not smart enough to make stuff happen on his own. My point is simply that C Pepp is surrounded by some great skill position players this year....hence my projection

as expected, I am in hell. I will be unavailable for the next 2-3 hours, so smoke 'em if you've got 'em.

I am not picking right now because I have a very hard choice to make and absolutely no time to make it. I was at a conference most of the day, then in a 2 hour meeting, and now a 5 min break.

Solo - glad I was so convincing in the Colts topic on the main board that I could convince you to burn two picks for one RBBC back. May I be the first to say, "aaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahaha!"

Ok, that said, I have another meeting to go to in 3 mins. Jesus, what a day.

I thought scooter's job was this board? . Scooter glad to see you working! You should just skip the meeting b/c you know all you're going to be thinking about is that 1 pick.

BTW - HOW MANY ROUNDS ARE WE DRAFTING? 20??

Double  to OldGuru for posting my pick to keep the draft moving. It looks like you are a hit with these ladies with their panties in a twist over the time it is taking to draft.

I'm enjoying this slow draft. It is probably one of the most useful threads for the lurkers this time of year.

lesson on how NOT to draft when looking at my team

Let's go Heat.

If we win tonight...I have every intention of getting absolutely retarded, running through the streets naked, and partying until the wee hours.....seeing as the picks are on the opposite ends of the earth right now....I don't think I'll be holding you guys up by not checking in until tomorrow. In the meantime do me a favor and don't take the guy I want.

Go Dallas - Here is a story about tonights NBA finals - - Eric Dampier © for the Mavs played at Miss. ST. - - My wife (girlfriend then) and I both went to Miss state. Ran into him several times at clubs and weight room. He kept asking my wife to break up with that tennis boy and go out with him! Calling her at work and just harrassing. So in the end my wife gave up a 12" black mega d!ck and Millions of NBA loot (he was a 1st round pick in '94,95 it's been a while) for me and my Big Joc Strap  and this simple life!
