Im glad you reminded me because its been so long since Ive been on that site, and I was so relieved that the draft was finally over, Id forgotten. Look, though, we're probably going to revise the schedule. We'll randomly draw #s again that will establish our team positions, and Ill set up an automated schedule off those positions, so we dont yet know who were playing opening week. I'm going to start referring to you as "Taco Bell Mild" because you're bringing weak sauce to the table. Hey - I'm just trying to bring a different type of sauce to the table. This idea just popped in my head. There is no rhyme or reason to it, just seeing how the numbers play out. And how about those fftoday rankings! I will bring the "OFFICIAL" JOCSTRAP team by team analysis out in August. Yea you could call this the mild sauce just warming your tastebuds up for the hot! You have to admit, it is different though! Laziest my arse - had to print out each position 3-5 pages each and number each one since MIKE doesn't have them numbered. Those first 5 teams took my arse 45 minutes of crucial work time. Oh no I breed champions in tennis period. 4 kids ranked #1 in the state in their age division last year. My last club I managed yes on top of other things I ran the pool and damn I'm glad I don't do that anymore. jocstrap 8 Posted July 28, 2006 Jocstrap is heading out for a vacation! Sandestin to be exact. If you guys haven't been to the beaches in the panhandle of florida, you are missing out. These beaches have the prettiest white sands, turqoise blue water, and memories of a life time you think about when going to the beach! Here are the other beaches I've been to that don't even compare: South Padre Island - sucks, South Carolina (hilton head)- brown water and sand if you like that, San Diego - overated, and the freakin' water in San Francisco in the summer is 58 degrees turning your whole body blue. Tampa - water didn't impress me and the beach was not soft white sand, West Palm was probably the best comparison, but honestly doesn't even touch the Destin experience! While you guys are crunching numbers, and listening to people ######, just think about me for 5 whole days drinking those fruity drinks with umbrella's! Oh yea, I'm starting breakfast off with a pinacolada or two, ride the buzz, switching to Budlight on the beach, then frozen Margarita's to top the evening off! BTW here are the ff today average rankings! 12 - Yippie Skippie 482 points - this team sucks 11 - Da Bears - not much involved with this league so you deserve to suck - 396 10- Grateful Parrott - talking the shiet but rankings never lie - 386 9 - Solo's Unioun Matisse (what that hell does that mean anyway?) - 382 8 - Ace 351 and where the hell is your #2 te - guess you will find the gem in FA? 7 - Unwashed masses - 363 with and average team 6 - Howie - 358 - Bush? make one response so we know you are a real person please - get involved 5 - Jocstrap - I guess my wr and rb are only average....preseason - then the truth will be unleashed -337 4- The Ellisonb11 - 317 maybe a playoff run for you! 3 - Clash - and I dogged your old man's lineup - and where the hell is your 2nd TE? 273+ 2nd te 2 - Server Menace - Possibly the best team, we will find out 286 1 - My Dixie weekend- with the best overall fftoday team total! You are a freakin' genius 279 This was pretty neat to see how the teams averages were, I think I might add my ff magazine rankings to this and take a combined, 2 source average and see how it all plays out. White sands, and the water is gorgeous in the panhandle of Florida (I guess that's why they call the emerald cost). Pinacolada's to start the day, 6 budlights at the beach, then whatever tasted swell with my steak and lobster's and steak and Alaskan King Crab in the evening . Alrighty then, just checking in and flying out in the morning for a family reunion in Kansas City . This could be tough with a 14 month old and a five year old. I think most of us were so emotionally worn down by the draft period, weve spent the past few weeks recovering. But dont sweat it, Joc. When it counts, there will be plenty of serious smacking goin' on. I feel better about my team right now than I did when I drafted it, so dont think Im going away quietly.
