NAn 39 Posted June 23, 2006 I'll be around all day. And I'll stay until he picks. No worries. that works.
Da Bomb 0 Posted June 23, 2006 found in an email list from yesterday that erb said his last two picks need to be a backup TE and backup QB, and that i should pick for him if he had a pick up before 2 tdoay. he already got mercedes lewis, and needed a QB here. i only saw 5 remaining starters here. two were buffalo and SF who blow. two were minny and cleveland who have the same bye as peyton manning. that left billy volek. *shrug* ========= my vote for danzone's pick is matt leinart (he has warner), dennis northcutt (he has braylon) or a backup TE (he has witten). for FK, he is fine with depth everywhere except RB, so taking a guy with a shot at starting if the guy in front got injured seems to make sense. so i'll take care of those two picks when they come up, unless theres any objections. Regardless of what's left at qb not being very good, think we need to go qb for erb...b/up qb is much more important to get out of draft than a b/up te IMO. And agree should be Leinart or Boller for DZ...injury concerns with Warner/Mcnair.

NAn 39 Posted June 23, 2006 Not sure how to avoid when you post right after a previous post that it 'merges' post, so looks a little awkward, but what the heck. Bomb up...King/Fumble next and we're done. Pick was reserved for Betts, but mehh...like Betts, but feel Portis is entering the prime of his career and Betts will be used sparingly. So went with a longshot rb to add to stable. Miller spoke about him earlier, hey it's Shanny...who knows?
Miller_Time_21 0 Posted June 23, 2006 Great job everyone, it was a blast once again. It was nice to talk some football strategy with you guys again.
Da Bomb 0 Posted June 23, 2006 happy to get reggie williams here. been hearing good things out of camp, and i still think hes the most talented WR there. a nice longshot. took travis henry for FK. the other option was suggs, but i wouldve taken travis henry myself if this mock was 15 rounds. i'll likely make him my last pick in a few leagues. no one is even touching him, and that baffles me. hes a proven good NFL RB in his prime, and he has two other oft-injured RBs on his team. plus with all the chris brown rumors swirling, if he ever goes, i think henry gets the first shot at starting, not hamstring lendale. Fumbleweed 543 Posted June 23, 2006 Finished up with Wiggins. For what it's worth, if I had known we were going only 14 rounds, I would've grabbed a sixth WR last time and passed on Turner. No big deal, obviously.

FantasyKing 4 Posted June 24, 2006 Thanks guys for finishing the last round for me - much appreciated. I'm trying to catch up on everything, but it's a busy weekend - my son's first birthday party is today and it's gonna be pretty big. I'm not overly excited about my team, I think I have some decent trade bait if this were a real league by trading a TE and a RB to NAn for my RB's handcuff and would shore it up. Hope everyone has a great weekend. Thanks again, it's been fun and a learning experience.
Erb047 0 Posted June 25, 2006 Awesome draft fellas DaBomb thanks for making my picks man, appreciate it. I Agree with the Volek pick btw, I really dont mind it. He gets a bad rap but I think he can do an OK job with that team.
