Guess you didn't read the other one. www.detroitlions.com/document_display.cfm?document_id=445088 Basically states that your link is worthless conjecture. But, let's get back on track here. If you are going to post "facts" you need to provide a credible link. You still have not provided a credible one. "nice doublespeak: it wouldn't surprise you if it were him...yet you don't alledge he did." How is this doublespeak? It's an opinion that is stated as such. That's using your own words for what I said, not mine. If you wish to be taken seriously here, you need to provide credible links to your "facts." Or, expect to be called out. But, not to hijack the thread. Fat Mike is a fat, lazy POS who may be out of football this year or next. No link, because it is my opinion, not stated as a fact. Let Da Big Dog Eat 42 Posted July 26, 2006 Oh, I should add, the reason it would not surprise me if Fat Mike dropped the dime is simple. Since he was fined $67,000 or $400,000 or somewhere in between, he would have a huge reason to report on the Laydowns. In any event, it had to be multiple fines, since he produced a "statement." Human nature. Revenge. Unless one is not a total POS which is what Fat Mike is. HTH

Then, you tell me to do your homework for you? LOL Swamppuppy says it was well established by the Detroit media who it was, when in fact it was never established (see my link) just speculation. Swamp almost makes me want to be a Packers fan, rather have Farve at this point in his career than Kitna or McCown. Walter34 3 Posted July 27, 2006 -- Rogers & Mike Williams will be Watched -- Thu Jul 27, 2006 --from FFMastermind.com ... Williams has not impressed Millen as much. Williams has been fined because of weight and punctuality issues. In June he was dismissed from mini-camp for two days. There has been speculation Williams does not have a secure roster position. "We'd be willing to cut everybody," Millen said. "There are realities on where we're at." It's been quite a slide for Williams. Early in offseason workouts, Williams was working with the No. 1 offense. A hamstring injury held him back. "When Mike was out there, he did really well," Millen said. "When he wasn't out there, that's not doing too well. It's all on him. Mike's a young player who's trying to figure it out." This looks like MW is at best 4th on the depth chart (Roy, Bradford / Rogers, then ???) as of now and at worst a scratch that cant be released due to the cap hit. All signs point to him continuing as a fat, lazy, wasted 1st rounder ... sad.

All signs point to him continuing as a fat, lazy, wasted 1st rounder ... sad. walter, again this re-hased old news. much of this is based on mike of last year. the lions sent mike home from one morning of one practice this spring. not two days. and the article conveniently leaves out that mike arrived at the camp down 16 pounds/ yes, mike has to prove something this year--just like benson or anyone else. but there is no evidence--and i defy you to find a current link (not a current link that simply re-hashes old news) that says mike williams is out of shape and/or overweight. i'm waiting. for the record: millen said no one--and no contract--is immune from being cut. the lions will cut anyone they choose and take the cap hit. the message is clear. DrJ 0 Posted July 27, 2006 walter, again this re-hased old news. much of this is based on mike of last year. False - he has been demoted to 4th option, by the current staff, due to being a lazy jackass in minicamps. Not because he didn't show up due to a contract dispute, but because he did show up and was his same lazy jerkoff self. The brand new coaching staff was giving him a fair shake, and he's already blowing it.

swamp dog 0 Posted July 28, 2006 Mike Williams is still a fatass. Link: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=217886 really? here's a better story from someone who actually was at the lions practice this morning: "Mike Williams refused to talk to reporters after practice. And it's probably best that he puts the entire "fine'' situation behind him. He did show, though, why he could be such a threat. He was being covered by Dre Bly on deep ball down the middle and, while Bly is clearly faster than Williams, Williams used his size to keep Bly behind him and easily caught the touchdown pass."--tom kowalski cheers
