phillybear 366 Posted October 4, 2006 Adding Marshall (-3.5) for 1 unit. I now have two units on the game. Aside from the movie angle, I was reading how Marshall was pissed when they lost to Central Florida last year, and that ended something like a 20 game losing streak for Cent Flor, they witnessed fireworks, pulling down goalposts, just a wild celebration. Marshall is really looking for revenge tonight. Also, to counter the statements that Marshall hasn't covered yet this year, they got front door covered against Kansas St and Tennessee, where both their opponents scored very late, Tennessee blatently running up the score to cost Marshall the covers. Besides, Centr Flor is either 1-2 or 0-2-1 ATS this year. Good luck to all.

GiantsRule 0 Posted October 5, 2006 Giants Iam just signing up how does this sight pay you I don't know cause i go through a local any other tip i should know about this sight signing up in 15 min. Awesome news! Thanks buddy! If you win, they pay you up to the amount of your deposit using the same method (use a credit card to fund your account, it goes back to your card, use Firepay, it goes back to Firepay, etc.) Any amount beyond that you can request whatever you want - online account (Firepay/Neteller, check by mail, check by FedEx, etc.) I just took a small withdrawal today that was sent to my Firepay account. I was told it would take 48 hours; it actually took three! Please email me at BTC316@hotmail.com when you get set up so I can get your information to claim the bonus (you'll get your bonus right away; I have to request mine.) If I could ever return the favor, let me know. I'm all about paying it forward (I think I owe Ditka a house, or at least a small car already!)
GiantsRule 0 Posted October 5, 2006 Damn, passed up on Marshall +7.5 (+110) before that quick score. If Central Florida scores again, I'm definitely jumping on the points for Marshall. American Chewy 98 Posted October 5, 2006 So the public is going with Utah. What is the good play or is there even a good play? Overall 62-47-5 +18.945 units 2+ plays 13-11-1 +5.995 units Utah -2.5@-112 WINNER Actually, TCU is seeing 70% of the action as of this hour. Despite that, the line has swung 5 points...fishy? Also, check this out http://www.dfw.com/mld/dfw/sports/colleges/15675384.htm TCU is missing some key players here. I'm also thinking Utah isn't too happy about their showing at home against Boise last weekend. TCU has an edge in offense (Utah 62nd, TCU 38th) but Utah leads in defense (Utah 30th, TCU 46th). Utah turns the ball over less though, they are 14th in the nation there at +1 per game.
4i's 0 Posted October 5, 2006 The line for the UCF and Marshall was the same. It was a pick'em then it moved toward Marshall -3.5. If the trend is like this with Utah and TCU, i would pick TCU and take the point. Also, TCU was embarrassed last week and they will come out fighting tonight. phillybear 366 Posted October 5, 2006 Overall College YTD: 96-77-4; +36.72 units Subset: 2 unit plays or higher: 40-25-1; +36.72 units Thursday All for 1 unit North Carolina St (+9.5) WINNER North Carolina 1st H (+6)@-115 WINNER Under 2nd H FlorSt/NCSt 20.5 for .5 units LOSER Utah (-2.5) WINNER Utah 1st H (-1.5)@-105 WINNER Utah 2nd H (Pk)@Even for 3 units WINNER!!!!! North Carolina St was been playing lousy football, but so has Florida St. NC St is 4-1 ATS, 3-2 SU vs Flor St last 5 meetings. NC St has a much, much better running game, Flor St has the better passing game, with NC St starting a freshman. But the freshman can't be any worse than the QB he replaced. Flor St can't run on anyone, and only had a good game on offense against a terrible Rice defense that can't stop the running game on anyone. Battle of two good defenses, I'll take the better running team as a home dog. Flor St might wear them down late, so I'll take a shot at the first half line for a fired up NC St team that may be doing the annual save Chuck Amato's job routine. Two teams coming off blow out losses at home. I watched both games closely. TCU was completely outclassed by a much better BYU team, which lends credence to my theory in last weeks writeup that TCU was overrated, enjoying their success last year mostly due to an incredible plus in turnover margin. They have a bunch of hurt skill position players, and a QB with a sore THROWING shoulder. Utah lost in a snowball game vs what likely will be a Boise ST team that will now run the table this year. Utah missed some chances early, and started turning the ball over. And over. And over. The game quickly got away from them, and the backup QB was playing early. Utah is still a strong home field, and it's hard for me to envision Utah losing two home games in a row as a favorite with the offensive talent that they possess. Also, the line doesn't make sense, as the line movement was ridiculous, with TCU getting 70+% of the action, and going from -3 to +3. Utah has been receiving sharp money the last couple weeks, and this looks like another example. It worked out went Utah killed San Diego St, but didn't when Utah lost to Boise St. It looks too easy to take TCU tonight. A couple of game I think are toss ups tonight. I don't love them. But I'll take them. Also, tomorrow, I will be on Midd Tenn St. Good luck to all.

phillybear 366 Posted October 5, 2006 Phillybear, i see that you have Hawaii for Three units already, with the line locked at 9.5. I was wondering what your reasoning behind this was cause i know that this Nevada team isn't that bad? Just wondering if you could do a write up why you like them so much. Also Im really confused about the UB vs. Ball State line. Ball State isn't that bad of a team from what i have seen, i mean, there not great but not horrible. I just dont understand why the line is only 5?? Is the UB team that good or are they both really that bad that not alot of points will be scored. Would love to hear your opinion. Big surprise, I'm on Hawaii again. But they've covered every lined game, I've bet them every game, and I'll take them again. Nevada is forcing tons of turnovers lately, 9-1 advantage and winning as a result, since they are not outgaining anyone in yardage. I don't think their luck will hold up. Hawaii is moving the ball for 500 yards on everyone, including good defenses like Hawaii and Boise St. Hawaii is 9-0 ATS as a favorite at home in conference games, Nevada (editted:) 1-8 ATS on road. Nevada has faced a series of teams that can't throw the ball at all this year, but the only team that has a passing game pulse, the shaky Arizona St, put up 347 passing against them. Without going into an depth stat analysis, Nevada is considerably below average defensively, especially in the secondary, and only average offensively. Hawaii is AVERAGING 500 total offense, 400 of it passing. Despite Hawaii being -7 in turnovers this year, they are dominating games offensively. They lost at the goal line at Alabama. They kept screwing up kicking opportunities and turning the ball over vs Boise St, and still were within 7 points at the end, on an awesome home field for Boise St. After the game, Boise players were quoted as saying Hawaii won't lose another game this year. They were impressed. Me, I'm not impressed. I expected this out of Hawaii, as pro scouts are following this team around, with the talent that Hawaii has on both sides of the ball. Hawaii seems to be covering each game by nearly double digits. A 15+ double digit dog that has come close to winning two games outright. And were up 42-0 early in the second half on UNLV at home. The Ball St /Buffalo game is not a surprise, since Ball St has a terrible defense, giving up 500 yards per game. Buffalo has covered every game this year so far. It's hard to lay points with this defense on the road, as Ball St seems to be more of a back door covering team. Buffalo first home game after three straight on the road. They actually kept it close vs Auburn their last game, as Auburn finally pulled away late. Buffalo is improving, and I would say take Buffalo or nothing. I know that I won't take Ball St this week. I don't know if I will take Buffalo, however.
phillybear 366 Posted October 6, 2006 The second college game tonight will be on the former Outdoor Life Network. Adding: Over 61 Idaho/New Mex St for 3 units Both teams are ranked below #100 in pass defense. Both teams love to pass. New Mex St is the #1 passing offense in college football. The shootout to end all shootouts. Previous plays for Saturday: Hawaii (-9.5) for 3 units Kent (-24) for 3 units New Mex St (Pk) for 3 units Big surprise, I'm on Hawaii again. But they've covered every game, and I'll take them again. They will win by double digits. Kent is the class of the MAC this year, and would have scored 50 points on a decent Akron defense last week if it wasn't for turnovers. Their defense has been decent for a couple of years, but their offense playing at a high level right now. Temple actually covered last week vs Vanderbilt, so a little line value here with Kent. The very much improved New Mex St already covered two games for me as a 3 unit game, and I'll try them again. New Mex St is the #1 passing offense in college, and will outscore Idaho. Idaho had a phoney win last week over an awful Utah St team, as Idaho had a pair of game changing long defensive TDs. Utah St played Idaho even last week in yardage

A lot of that will depend on the health of the NW QB Kafka. He missed last weeks game vs Penn St, and NW could not move the ball at all. I don't know if Wisconsin's offense is good enough to pull off two huge blow outs in a row, but the NW QB health is the key to the game. Plus, I believe Wisc is playing with revenge, for an embarrasing performance by their defense last year in a 51-48 loss. NW had almost 700 yards offense in that game. But the NW offense is much worse this year.
