Blitzen 0 Posted October 11, 2006 Well by killing them you are in fact freeing them from their horrible lives, so yes.
Snoopy1 0 Posted October 11, 2006 http://www.cnn.com/2006/WORLD/meast/10/11/...l.ap/index.htmlor murderers? I agree with the skeptics that those numbers seem way too high. 50K might be too low, but to find 600K more deaths, that's seems a bit absurd.
tony hardware 0 Posted October 11, 2006 Only 665,000? Man, this war is a waste of resources!

An accurate count of Iraqi deaths has been difficult to obtain, but one respected group puts its rough estimate at closer to 50,000. And at least one expert was skeptical of the new findings. donhaas 18 Posted October 11, 2006 Wow! We've long since put Saddam to shame when Reagan/Bush supported his mass killings in the 80s. Bush Jr. > Bush Sr. Questions: Could all of this killing affect whether Democracy will be embraced by all by the end of the month in Iraq? If Muslims came here and killed 600,000 Americans would that make us more or less likely to embrace their way of life??? Should we have maybe dealt with that nut in Korea before the WMD-less, al-Queada tie-less Saddam who was so terrible that we used to support him? Where the fock is Osama? Can we get our $400 billion back? Is there some type of quagmire return policy? TIA LODASM

Guest Davaco Posted October 11, 2006 I think it's cool the way we keep killing them in nice round numbers. The researchers estimated that an additional 654,965 people have died in Iraq since the invasion above what would have been expected from the pre-war mortality rate. They did not ask families whether their dead were civilians or fighters. (Read the report's appendix, including methodology and charts -- pdf)
