Yer mom 2 Posted November 11, 2006 Great. Now you're having me thinking I should execute the buyback!!! How could you just realize this now? That's like recognizing that Ohio State likes to run up the score! Hangover...minds not sharp...still a good play though....off to the bars!! Good Luck!! Maybe they think they'd take a beating on moneyline parlays in the NCAA today. The favorites are covering quite a bit so far, especially the double digit favorites. That's why I think Ohio State will cover tonight even though Loyola is a decent team. Texas should have covered last night, but had some brain farts in the end. I thought about taking Kansas tonight, but decided to stay away. I started a basketball thread on the geek club, might make it easier to dissiminate between bb and fb info. GBFAVRE4 0 Posted November 11, 2006 In a game with tons of WR injury issues for both teams, players out, Arizona St is the better running team. I'm taking the small home dog with the better chance to move the ball. Wrong team is favored. Huge let down spot for Houston. Big time emotional upset win last week for Houston, in Kolb's final home game. SMU 11-4 ATS at home. SMU is 4-1 ATS in conference games. SMU is 4-0 SU at home. SMU needs this game to become bowl eligible. Houston is 1-2 on the road, and the win was by one point over Rice in week one. Eastern Mich is terrible at stopping the run. Technical mismatch, the way Navy runs the ball. I will never go against Philly, I will never go against Philly.......

disproventheory 0 Posted November 11, 2006 Navy (-12.5) WINNERNotre Dame (-11) USC (-7.5) Southern Miss (-6) WINNER Boise State (-13) Oregon State (-2) Six favorites... Notre Dame and USC will be out to prove something after the Lousiville loss. Boise State is desperate to get into the BCS... Southern Miss is underrated and will roll... Navy is better than Eastern Michigan by a longshot and should kill them... Oregon State is one of the hottest teams in the nation after two road wins and the upset of USC, and UCLA is a sinking ship... Good thus far. Notre Dame should cover, I might have a chance at 6-0... Really confident in Oregon State as they get their running back, Yvenson Bernard, back from injury. They are white-hot and UCLA has lost four in a row. The win against USC really ingnited the Beavers.
swirvenirvin 25 Posted November 11, 2006 So far it doesn't look like Michigan and Ohio State are looking ahead! Yeah I was going to comment on this that a lot of people had this as the "let down" game, but I thought both of them got their scare last week, and were going to come out straong.. I only played Michigan, and have them in a teaser so doesn't really do much for me

iceblumist610 0 Posted November 11, 2006 And again I say...I only bet on teams that turn the ball over. Illinois had 4 in the 2nd half. Vandy had 2 in the 4th quarter. Miami had 2 in the 4th quarter. At least Miami covered anyways. But 5-0 would be a heck of a lot better than 3-2, considering the crappiness that is my record on the year.

phillybear 366 Posted November 12, 2006 This is the third straight year San Jose St has given Boise St problems. I played SJSt, but I didn't expect them to be winning. Stunning. I've been playing San Jose a lot this year. They are a very underrated team, and very much improved. Some of these highly ranked teams are really sh!tting the bed today. phillybear 366 Posted November 12, 2006 Adding Hawaii (-37.5) for 2 units Oregon (+9.5) for 1 unit San Diego St (-10) for 1 unit Oregon and San Diego St are now 3 unit games for me. Hawaii in a big revenge spot, for a 30+point loss last year. When Hawaii wants to blow someone out, they will. They were pissed at Idaho for chop blocks, and they kept scoring the whole game. The line is ridiculous, but I can't resist another play on Hawaii this year. That's my team. San Diego St is a much different team right now, as they are healthy. UNLV has quit, and I believe they are down to their 3rd string QB. Playing against an overrated USC team again, with a decent Oregon team.

swirvenirvin 25 Posted November 12, 2006 Enough is enough and it time to unleash my picks. After a super day last Saturday I have stunk it up once again in midweek play. I am riding some of Phillys picks tonight to hopefully make back a little cash. Feeling decent about these 12 plays for Saturday tossing 5 units each (Last Saturday 12 plays x 5 units was my lucky number going 10-2). YTD College 117-57-9 (+82.5 units) <----If UTEP covers!! Boise St -13.5 (They want to be noticed so I expect a large margin of victory here) Texas Tech +9 Cincy/WV over 46 South FL/Syracuse over 39 Navy -14.5 Minnesota -2 LaTech/Hawaii under 76 <----overrated offense Air Force +11 SMU +3 Tenn/Arkansas over 46.5 Indiana +19 (look ahead #1) Northwestern +23 (look ahead #2) Hey Greyhounds, Not sure why you feel the need to come here and start some crap? This is a pretty friendly group here to talk sports handicapping and try to win some money. Sure sometimes we use humor (like me calling out Dr. Bob) but we all know each other and get it! You don't. Another thing. Why do you find humor in the joke "Ditka can't pay his bills" or whatever your saying. Am I missing the punchline? Could you follow it up with something that will at least make me chuckle? Stupid. So I missed on Louisville! It happens. But I posted my opinion along with everyone else. No need to point out who won the game and who was on what side of the action. We already know. If you would like to post your picks and opinions by all means hang around! But if your going to come in and drop your knowledge on us after the games, well then your not welcome! Got that Chief? Crap the only games i pick from you, are the losers

cyclone24 1,913 Posted November 12, 2006 Im officially done picking football games for college...... I am however 7-0 this year on NCAA basketball....i think im going to stay with that. I know that much better than college football. Now if Ohio State can just hang on and cover the -11.....they'll make up for a disaster day in football. Yer mom 2 Posted November 12, 2006 Evening fellas! My liver is just throwing uppercuts at me right now, back to back days of destroying my body. Gotta go full speed with friends in town though, cant pull any punches! I figure to make one more play for the night, ilbeit a drunk play, still a play none the less. 3-0 for the day, goin for the clean sweep.... USC TEAM TOTAL OVER 31.5 Confidence and Offense got back on track last week (dont remind me that it was Stanford) They needed that Oregon State loss.... Im having a really hard time with this game. I figure it to be a 10 point game (sorry Oregon backers) with a final resembling 34-24....Just some drunk talkin now, hope everyone wins... Good Luck!! I just walked in the door....did Colt McCoy get hurt? Why is the Texas halftime line only -7 when they are down only 7. A straight up wins sounds likely unless McCoy went down...Forget it, just saw a post above indicating injury....
