phillybear 366 Posted November 10, 2006 So far no signs of freshmen jitters from the Longhorns. Their team is quick and athletic. It's a damn shame Durant will only be in college one year. Â 37-6 run by Texas. Yikes. Â Wyoming held BYU on 4th and goal from the 1 to a FG. BYU 10-0 2nd half. Wyoming still has a weak pulse. Unfortunately, every time Wyoming goes into BYU territory, the drive instantly stalls.

They are going to be a tough team this year because their defense was very active and they were looking to push the ball up the court. They'll be a fun team to watch all year long. Most books had the 2H over in the L'ville game at 26.5 or 27. I found 24.5. It's not going to come close.  41-0 and BYU continues to pass. What pieces of sh!t! Tarheel Boy 0 Posted November 10, 2006 GR...your Suns team total bet looks pretty good now that the line is 107.... Good Luck!!  I think the Suns easily go over the 100 point mark. The Mavs defense has been terrible so far and they've given up 100 + points in both road losses so far. If the Rockets can score over 100 there's no reason why an up tempo team like Phoenix can't. The Spurs put up 97 against them, but other than that they've been giving up points left and right.

phillybear 366 Posted November 10, 2006 Unreal. I am on the opposite side the night BYU decides to run it up. I hate mid week games this year. It's not even on TV. WTF? Who are they trying to impress? Â Hate them. Hate them. Hate them. Â If I wasn't drinking much earlier, I am now. Let's go Golden St!!!!! Â
Tarheel Boy 0 Posted November 10, 2006 I need 105 for the push; 106 for the win. Â I don't think you have much to worry about, honestly. Unless the Suns have tired legs from travel they'll put up the points. I wouldn't be surprised if they put up around 115. I know I probably sound like a p!ssed of Mavs fan, and I am, but the fact is their defense has sucked.
phillybear 366 Posted November 10, 2006 I am sorry about the Wyoming picks tonight for any one that followed me tonight. The game pick sucked. The 2nd H pick sucked. BYU just returned a punt for a TD. Â I was way off on this game. Seriously. Sorry.

phillybear 366 Posted November 10, 2006 Dammit. If it wasn't for Wyoming's suckiness, I would be in a better mood right now. Fock. Â I guess I better pay attention to the 2nd H lines in baskets tonight. I feel like losing some more money tonight.
Grind 0 Posted November 10, 2006 On to Friday nights game. Western Michigan is 1-16 in the last 17 meetings at CMU. It seems it is just a matter of whether or not CMU will win by six as history says they won't lose.

Yer mom 2 Posted November 10, 2006 I love all of the stats, probabilities, trends, strengths, weaknesses, weather forecasts that we share on this board as a team, to me it is such fun stuff. I also like that we have a fairly even sided board here on tonights game so at least some of us can win. Having said that im going to spew my .02 prediction about tonights game.... Throw all stats out the window on this one I think, it comes down to who wants it more, and heres what I see. A "fly under the radar" home team begging for respect. The analysts i've heard talk about this game say that even with a Rutgers win and a sweep of the board for the rest of the season they wont get a shot at the National Title....I agree, im sure most of you do as well for fairly obvious reasons (Schedule, Program credibility).  I will be the first to come back and chow down on that crow if mistaken.....I think UL runs into a buzzsaw tonight...  Good Luck!!   Didnt look good early...but theres the rub baby. Throw the stats out the window for this one, it was gonna come down to who wanted it more! Ended up with 3 plays on Rutgers..+7.5, +14, +16.5....all winners  Football Season YTD: 81-21-6 (11-0 on the week including hoops) I invite Dr. Robert to step to me right now, I see him fallin short!!  Good Luck!! Tarheel Boy 0 Posted November 10, 2006 I know it's Alcorn State, but the Longhorns looked really really good. I had them at #23 in my preseason rankings and I thought they were just barely behind Texas A&M, but this young team is very aggressive on the defensive end which is something they lacked last year. Â The Mavs look impressive again early on tonight like they have in 3 of the first 4 games, but I've seen this story way too much early on. Can they find a way to keep up the offensive scoring the rest of the game and not let their defense crumble?

Also, I am debating a play on Phoenix on the 2nd H based on your recommendation.
Tarheel Boy 0 Posted November 10, 2006 Good call. Alcorn sh!t their diapers. Â Thanks. I've been trying to read up a lot this year on college hoops gearing up for the season. Gonna focus on the mid majors a lot this year because I think that's where the best bets will be. I think Phoenix in the 2H will be a good play too. Like I was telling GR, the Mavs defense and offense just fall apart after the first period. I think tired legs will come into play and while both teams have been playing a lot of games early on, I think the Suns will have the fresher legs.
GiantsRule 0 Posted November 10, 2006 Fvck it. Going to try to turn it around the same as last week:  3-team underdogs parlay (all 3:30 p.m. games):  Temple Owls +36 Indiana Hoosiers +19½ Kent State Golden Flashes +30½

GiantsRule 0 Posted November 10, 2006 I was trying to find that to post it for you.......Winnah!! Good Luck!!  FVCK! Now I feel even worse! I forgot there were TWO 2-point conversions in that game. If they didn't fvck around with that XP with the 2nd Louisville TD, I would have at least pushed!  I hope you have a good slate for Saturday, Yer Mom, and I pray you can get them in early this week. phillybear 366 Posted November 10, 2006 Adding Gold St 2nd H (-1) for 3 units   I still think the Warriors win this game. It's a disgrace that G St pushed my first H bet. You focking bunch of losers owe me.

Got some buddies coming in from out of town this weekend, not sure I plan to fire.....  As for this 2nd half Phoenix/Dallas game...im in. Im hoping Dallas extends the lead a bit more here and we get a killer line for the Suns.....we shall see.  Good Luck!!
phillybear 366 Posted November 10, 2006 Adding a low percentage play:  Parlay 2 units to win 12.0 units: Central Mich (-6) UTEP (+2) Gold St (-1) 2nd H  Adding Phoenix 2nd H for 3 units  Phoenix to win the game by 2. This can be accomplished.
Yer mom 2 Posted November 10, 2006 2nd half: Â Suns -5 106 Â Played the OVER...Dirk is red hot and probably will draw more attention, so other guys should be open to shoot in the 2nd half. Phoenix will be Phoenix... Â Good Luck!!
GiantsRule 0 Posted November 10, 2006 Going for the hedge/middle. Too much of a bad night to make any money: Â Have Phoenix Over 105 for the game Took Phoenix Under 55.5 (-105) for the half (essentially Under 111.5) Â If there's any justice, Phoenix will score 106, 107, 108, 109, 110, or 111 points. Like everything else tonight though, I ain't holding my breath. Â 2nd half:Â Suns -5 106 Â Played the OVER...Dirk is red hot and probably will draw more attention, so other guys should be open to shoot in the 2nd half. Phoenix will be Phoenix... Â Good Luck!! Â I'm in. Might as well. Just don't hold it against me when it loses because I took it. Â I know you have friends coming in, but is there any chance you can take a look for any lines that are out of whack (like last week) or was that a once in a lifetime gift? Tarheel Boy 0 Posted November 10, 2006 If anyone is interested I'll probably start posting my hoops picks on the geek board so not to clutter up the football threads. Since I follow the ACC extremely close that's what I'll focus primarily on and the Big XII. I'm still doing research on the mid majors. I'll still chime in on this thread if everyone else is still talking hoops.
Guest SheVegas Posted November 10, 2006 GR good luck on your hedge...I really don't like it...I think Suns score 60+ this half...Dallas will get tired and the Suns played really bad the first half and still scored
phillybear 366 Posted November 10, 2006 To summarize, my 2nd H bets outside of football..  Gold St 2nd H (-1) for 3 units Phoenix 2nd H for 3 units  Wyoming (+7) 2nd H for 3 units LOSER!!!!!  Parlay 2 units to win 12.0 units: Central Mich (-6) UTEP (+2) Gold St (-1) 2nd H
