I voted for the Greens today because the Democrats are cry babies with no answers to any of the problems this country faces. John Kerry failed with his "I have a plan" crap and they will likely fail again as they propose solutions to nothing.

Count me in today and for the near future. It'll take a long time for me to forgive the GOP -budget deficits, retarded war, massive pork, stem cell bans, intelligent design, environmental deregulation, broken treaties.

Please don't fock up.

Still, they nominate Guiliani or McCain in '08 and I'm out of here ...

I'm on that bandwagon too. There'll be enough room for everyone to join the McCain 08 wagon.

McCain betrayed our constitution...I would never support him again.

Fock Guiliani, but if McCain is the candidate, I might vote for him. All depends on who the candidates are from either side.

I can't vote for McCain.

He just has a frightening air of instability about him.

Five years of having your yambag smacked with a bamboo stick in a North Vietnam prison sell will do that to a guy.

Mayor Rudolph came out and supported Ken Blackwell in Ohio for Governor. He even went so far as to do commercial after commercial for Blackwell. Ken Blackwell is one of the scummiest, lowest politicians in the US right now. What respect I had for Rudolph went out the door and will never come back. The Maverick's voting record does not support his stand on issues and it amazes me how a guy who was held captive for 5 years does not have the balls to call out his own party and the Swift Boat jackazzes who defamed his service record just like they did Kerry's. The Maverick did not get mad, he just moved on, shook hands with those who defamed his service record and continues to make deals with them. I have no respect for Mayor Rudolph or the Maverick anymore.

I am not a Democrat, but unfortunately they are the lesser of two evils. Any way, just wanted to report in that Ken Blackwell is getting slammed way worse than anyone thought in the Ohio gubernatorial election. Strickland has doubled him up so far, like 64 to 31%. Blackwell has already conceeded the election. A Strickland win is no surprise, but he is winning by a far more significant margin than anyone thought and it looks like the Democrats are going to gain cabinets and seats throughout Ohio. It appears that Dewine will lose his Senate seat to Brown as well.

Following this election stuff on NECN, and according to that, it seems like the Dems are kicking ass, at least in Massachusetts.

DeWine is one of the better Republicans, he gives his party hell over their penchant for massive budget deficits. I respect that greatly. And he;s not tied in to the corrupt Ohio GOP scandals. The GOP needs more guys like this not less. It's a pity in a way, even though I'm rooting for the Dems, chasing DeWine from the Senate is a case of throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

Now in Virginia with George Allen or PA with Sanitarium, man those guys royally suck.

Actually they do have plans. You just need to stop drinking the GOP Kool-Aid.

The Real Security Act of 2006 marks a major change from status quo Bush Republican policies, the legislation spells out the tough and smart path to make America more secure and to deal more effectively with threats that confront America at home and abroad." Unfortunately it was killed by the Senate GOP leadership on September 13, 2006 on a roll-call vote that went almost straight down party lines. The same Republicans who killed the Democratic plan now walk around saying the Democrats have no plan.

The key points of the Real Security Act of 2006 include the following:

Begin a new era of sensibly dealing with the quagmire that is the U.S.'s occupation of Iraq. Democrats would begin redeployment of U.S. troops out of Iraq to face terrorist threats around the world, including the new countries hosting Al-Qaeda since the Iraq war began. It also provides for real Congressional oversight to avoid further big-money losses to crooked defense contractors, accustomed to no-bid contracts and a tolerance for fraud and abuse.

Refocus America on the real war on terror by making sure the U.S. continues to pursue Osama bin Laden and bring him to justice and increase levels of Special Operations forces to kill and capture the terrorists where they are and to better protect Americans at home.

Provide updated tools, consistent with true American values, so we can bring terrorists to justice, while also following the law and the Constitution and work to revise the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act as needed to ensure intelligence agencies have the tools needed to defeat the terrorists.

Implement all 41 recommendations of the 9/11 Commission, including providing adequate resources for first responders, distributing homeland security funding based on risk, improving intelligence oversight, bolstering Congressional oversight of homeland security, strengthening public diplomacy and improving tracking of nuclear weapons material.

Equip the intelligence community to fight against terrorists by passing the Intelligence authorization bill, giving the CIA the resources to conduct aggressive and effective intelligence gathering. For the first time in 28 years, the Republican-controlled Congress has failed to pass the bill providing these desperately-needed resources.

Invest additional money to secure America's ports, rails, roads, airports, chemical and nuclear plants and mass transit systems by improving and increasing screenings and increasing security of containers and radiation screenings.

What is Bush's plan?

Dude, I agree that he is not as bad as most Republicans, but to say that he was not tied into the Ohio GOP scandals is not altogether true. The Republican leadership had to know what was going on with the coin scandal and Dewine did take money from Noe. I think Dewine is probably being dealt a bad hand becaue of a campaign contributor gone wrong, but to say that he is not tied into the GOP corruption is not true. Dewine was one of the few republicans in Ohio who did actually try and reach over to the other side on some issues and I wouldn't have been real upset if he won his seat again.

Early reports say LIEberman is a LOSERman!

:wall:  :o

Were you reading those reports torrid wrote?

Though...I doubt any Democrat would want to be unified with you anyway...maybe to a cause...but certainly all would distance themselves from a hack alias like you.

Ned Lamont just conceded defeat, how is Lieberman losing?

They are saying:

House +4 right now for the Democrats, and this really surprises me, but the Dems are +3 in the Senate right now. The Senate news already pleases me even if the Republicans maintain for the rest of the night. I think the best thing that could happen would be for the Republicans to maintain a slight majority in the Senate and then next election, when everyone sees that Bush cannot do anything despite having a majority in his party in the senate, then an even bigger snowball effect will take place. Get an experienced Democrat for president, besides Hilary, and Obama as VP and the Democrats could take the Executive and Legislative branches in 2008.

I called this one as soon as Lieberman declared as an Independent. He left a party because he was a sore loser, and not because his ideology forced him out. People seem to like politicians that work with others and not politicans that abandon a party because their time is up. He came across as a self serving jackazz that was only concerned with himself. Lieberman is scum so good riddance.

No, I'm not from Massachussetts. I don't know who Kerry Healey is. I was referring to Ted Kennedy and William Bulger.
