Detroit -- 1.2 - Demarcus Russell - He will spend 1 season under Kitna then take over and dominate !

 

Cleveland - 1.3 - Adrian Peterson - Best RB prospect in the draft. Will Start right away.

 

Tampa Bay - 1.4 -- Brady Quinn - Gruden desperatley wants a franchise QB and i think he will think at least he has one in Brady.

 

Arizona 1.5 Joe Thomas -- Obvious Oline needs they are thrilled here.

 

 

Washington 1.6 Alan Branch -- Washington could use a little beef on DL but they strongly also consider Leon hall here as well.

 

 

Minnesota 1.7 Brian Brohm ( if he indeed comes out ) goes here as Minnesota need a franchise QB and clearly they have none. If Brohm stays in school then Teddy Ginn is the selection here.

 

Houston 1.8 Levi Brown OT Houston needs Oline help and he is 2nd greatest in draft.

 

 

Miami 1.9 Gaines Adams DL Miami needs a great pass rusher with a possible JT retierment and he is best in draft.

 

Atlanta 1.10 Laron Landry S They need defense and he is the greatest overall D player left on board !

Actually, it's JaMarcus Russell, but it doesn't matter 'cause I don't think there's a chance the Lions take him. Marinelli strikes me as someone who believes the strength of a team starts on the D-Line, and as such may go after a Gaines Adams.

 

Stranger things have and continue to happen with this team, so who knows.

I would have to disagree on the Vikings. They traded up to get Tarvaris Jackson in the 2nd round last year. I don't think they will be using their first pick on a QB. They need a WR, but Ginn is not the answer since they already have Troy Williamson and they are the same type of stretch the field WR. Jarrett would make since although I hope that the Vikes don't get him.

put these idiots in their place, I hate people who claim to have guaranteed info. and then post something as idiotic as a QB going to the Vikings. I doubt in the history of the NFL anyone has ever traded up for a QB in the 2nd round of the previous draft, traded for a QB in the preseason, and then drafted one in the 1st round the following year.

 

Also, as soon as I saw Calvin Johnson #1 I knew it was farce. Has he declared yet? Nope, I don't think he's going to...

for what it's worth, killer said the lions have written off skill positions at that pick. it's going to be o-line, d-line, or linebacker (if one is worth there, which i don't think there is). he said the lions wouldn't be opposed to considering qb if they were able to trade down a few picks and still get the guy...but it's not likely.

I'm probably in the minority, but I can definitely see why Childress likes Jackson. He's rough, but I'm willing to be he'll be on his share of fantasy starting lineups no later than 2008. Childress was aiming for a McNabb clone when they drafted Jackson and I, for one, liked what I saw from a player so inexperienced. I don't think MIN drafts a first-day QB high anytime soon.

Childress is a tool and the only reason Ziggy is going to keep him is to orchestrate some sort of Norm Green bs excuse to move them to LA.

 

If this team wanted to head in the right direction, which is towards the playoffs and a bowl appearance. You have to dump Childress.
