locogrande 0 Posted January 22, 2007 question - had this been during the fantasy season, how would mankin's recovery touchdown be scored? would the patriots DEF/ST owner get TD credit for that?

Fumbleweed 516 Posted January 22, 2007 Harrison didn't seem to make a very strong play for that. Kudos to Samuel, though....great play.
guitarmonkiy 0 Posted January 22, 2007 Is anyone actually surprised by this? Peyton is just proving what most people already though, can't handle the pressure of any big games.
edjr 6,578 Posted January 22, 2007 Is anyone actually surprised by this? Peyton is just proving what most people already though, can't handle the pressure of any big games. Plenty of time in this game.
Fumbleweed 516 Posted January 22, 2007 Is anyone actually surprised by this? Peyton is just proving what most people already though, can't handle the pressure of any big games. That was his first mistake of the game. The rest of the points came because NE is running the ball down Indy's throat. The game isn't over......
swamp dog 0 Posted January 22, 2007 rex grossman=1 super bowl appearance trent dilfer=1 super bowl appearance peyton manning=0 super bowl appearances. and holding

Foghorn Leghorn 0 Posted January 22, 2007 Harrison didn't seem to make a very strong play for that. Kudos to Samuel, though....great play. Great DB's bait the QB into thinking the out is there - though you're right, Harrison didn't come to the ball either.

edjr 6,578 Posted January 22, 2007 Nice non call on the blatent harrison pushoff.. the refs have to try and keep it close.
hines86rules 0 Posted January 22, 2007 The Colts are trying too much for the big play. This is why Manning will never win a Super Bowl.

Fumbleweed 516 Posted January 22, 2007 The Colts are trying too much for the big play. This is why Manning will never win a Super Bowl. It was 3rd and 24...... Kudos to the NE offensive line. They are granting Brady wonderful protection in the pocket.
hines86rules 0 Posted January 22, 2007 It was 3rd and 24...... It wasn't while manning was getting sacked on 1st and 2nd down waiting for his WRs to get 40 yards downfield.
edjr 6,578 Posted January 22, 2007 The referees trying their hardest to keep the colts in this one.
Fumbleweed 516 Posted January 22, 2007 It wasn't while manning was getting sacked on 1st and 2nd down waiting for his WRs to get 40 yards downfield. Maybe so. But, the Colts are a big play team. If they were playing conservative, people would say they weren't taking advantage of their big-play ability. The truth of the matter is that there's no need to criticize the Colts much at this point. The Patriots are the story of the game. They're doing most things exactly right.
TIKI-BARBERS-BARBER 0 Posted January 22, 2007 The referees trying their hardest to keep the colts in this one. Yep the refs always love Manning in the playoffs. That was crap New England would have scored at least 3.
