ManUtd 0 Posted February 13, 2007 Any signs of letting up? I'm thinking of sending the office home for the rest of the day. 45 miles east of you. East of me, no. In fact IL is getting the max force of this. Worst is the blowing snow out there. The wind is bad here and my house is in a very small valley. The precip. sheild keeps back building over NORCO and Metro East then heading due east. I'm hoping some wrap around snow building up by Bowling Green, MO comes my way for another round. Can you imagine how disgusting that snow is going to be Saturday by you? Piss, puke, and mud stained snow all over the place. Oh, and I'm still getting snow here in Overland. Small flakes but I wouldn't call it "light" yet.

Oh, and I'm still getting snow here in Overland. Small flakes but I wouldn't call it "light" yet. Oh Man, it's gonna be nasty down there. Luckily, I'll miss most of the piss, puke and whatever else. There's no parking near my place for anybody other than residents. In one way, I'm kind of glad the weather will be sh!tty. Keeps the kids away.

thePIMPmaster 0 Posted February 14, 2007 We've probably seen 8-10 inches by now, which doesn't even make people flinch around here. I'm shocked some schools were even debating closing tomorrow.
Cuse9 128 Posted February 14, 2007 NW Ohio here. Every school has closed tomarrow. Most factories have shut down, hell even Wal-Mart closed. Everything shut down except my wife's work, she don't like to drive in this stuff, so I took her to work at 9 am, all her employees called in and she ended up working til midnight! cinciman7 2 Posted February 14, 2007 Ice has covered everything here. Tree limbs are coming down all over. A 9 year old girl was hit and killed by a 20 ft. branch while walking her dog in her yard . We lost power yesterday from 2-10pm. Brrrrrrrrrrr Getting windy today and more of those ice covered branches are gonna kill the power. Give me the snow anyday.
