Bill Belichick's mistress

Recommended Posts

I'm surprised I haven't seen this posted on the boreds at all. Did a search and didn't see it either.

http://www.nypost.com/seven/02252007/news/...san_edelman.htm

New England Patriot coach Bill Belichick has been supporting his alleged mistress - a New Jersey housewife in the midst of a divorce - by sending her envelopes stuffed with cash and buying a secret $2.2 million Park Slope town house for her use, court papers allege.

For the last 18 months, Belichick has mailed or wired about $3,000 a month in cash to Sharon Shenocca, she said.

Belichick, she said, also paid for her $25,000 Jersey Shore summer rental in Lavallette and showered her with gifts, including a private jet to Disney World and a Fast Pass credit card

Holy jackpot, batman!

This is an old story.....and it doesn't relate to football nor does it affect how he does his job. Who cares? <_<

I care, only for one issue - Can size?

What an "unsmart" comment.

None of Pacman's transgressions have anything to do with football either, nor do the arrests of half the Bengals' team, yet we hear about that stuff incessantly.

Having perhaps the best coach in the league mired in what some may consider shady behavior is absolutely newsworthy.

Does anybody have a picture (link) of Sharon Senocco?

Considering that a lot of these things can get you thrown in jail, and or suspended from the league, they certainly are related to football. Is having a mistress against the law or grounds for suspension now? If it is, prepare for half of the league to be disciplined.

Pacman and the Bengals broke the law. Bellichick didn't. There's a difference. Sure, it's newsworthy, just like Tom Brady impregnating that chick......it's newsworthy on Entertainment tonight, but that's it.

Seems to me you're unsmart!

Well, I'd have to say that while not illegal, Bellichick's actions definitely cross the moral boundaries of many. You may not care, but to a lot of people it is kind of a big deal...

It may be old, but most people haven't heard about it yet, I just heard it discussed on NFL Radio last night, it was new to them. I realize this story does not relate to fantasy football, but lighten up, it's the offseason! Even if you aren't interested, you can still ignore it and find every other thread that was posted in today on page one of the board. I just thought it was a funny story to share, I mean, a $2.2M home and 3 grand a month, wow!

That's fine. He broke a moral law. I agree. But as Parrot mentioned, prepare for half of the league to be disciplined.

I don't condone what BB did, but it's not something that's going to get him in trouble as far as the NFL is concerned or even the Patriots so then it's nothing more than entertainment news and you get to sit on your couch at home and judge him.

As far as football goes, I still say

In the offseason just about anything is newsworthy. Especially if one reacts with a "Holy ######!" sort of reaction... then it is newsworthy.

A thread called "Belichick haters, Read this..." eluded your search? :dunno:

Actually, quick glance at that thread shows it started out w/more BB knobpolishing, until it was properly rerouted around Post 17.

I lost track of the story, but here (w/pic of chick) it is alleged BB may have been banging the sister too.

Ah. Yeah, I searched on Belichick + mistress which found nothing. Then I searched on just Belichick and I saw that thread, but I thought it was just about the Tomlinson incident. :dunno:

Anyway, thanks for the links. Unfortunately that article is archived and no longer free.

So what is worse, Bill stealing someones wife or Bill and the Pats stealing a super bowl on the tuck rule?

You're like a child, who wanders into a movie theatre...

Also, the Post is hardly credible:

You're like a child who still believes in Santa Claus.

No hometown courtesy from the Boston Herald, they've been covering it pretty regularly -

12 stories

The Post is quoting court testimony...so it isn't like a Page Six story quoting anonymous sources.

The Herald is just a rag too. My point is that lets wait until this story moves beyond the "gossip columns" before you go assuming its all true.

This story has been around for awhile locally. The Boston Herald's Inside Track has been all over it and I can't recall a time when they weren't on the money. They're very reliable as far as the gossip world is concerned.

The story is BB has had some type of relationship (while it seems pretty obvious what it is I haven't seen it 100% confirmed) with this lady from his days with the Giants when they both worked for the organization. She's currently in the middle of a messy divorce and her husband is all over the BB angle claiming he's been her sugar daddy for years. Now that it's in a court of law the Sh*t is hitting the fan. The area BB has to be most concerned from what I understand is all these gifts. I believe he can get himself into some legit trouble on the tax front if the amounts that are being reported are true.

IMO there's something real odd going on here with this couple because it sounds like this guy knew about it for years and didn't care too much. Something's really off-center here and BB's a part of it. Since BB will never talk and the records have been sealed the info has been coming out in dribs and drabs but there is little doubt that if these allegations are true Ol' Bill has been doing more than gameplanning for football games.

The tuck rule play didn't happen in the Super Bowl. HTH!

The tuck was made up for the ref miss the slap to Brady's head by Charles Woodson on that same play, Coleman saw it on the replay. Should have had an automatic 1st down and 15 plus yards. Luckily the Ref redeemed himself by calling that same play that may have looked like a fumble correctly and ruled it an incomplete pass as stated by the NFL rule book. He saved his ass there. Although having 1st down and extra 15 would have been a lot easier to score from. Maybe the Pats win in regulation, rather then OT.

Luckily the Patriots didn't fold with the non- roughing the passer call.
