I have an album question.....

it's from back in the 50's.....

it might technically be a greatest hits album, BUT, it's not a "greatest hits" album meaning that it wasn't songs picked from other albums that the group had at the time. They just released singles, and then put all the singles from the previous 3 years on 1 album.....

so, is that album allowed? or disallowed?

you all decide.

BTW, I'm not gonna wait 10 years for everyone in here to chime in. The first 3-5 people who say yay or nay will be the judge and jury.

I think it's fine if they haven't been on other albums.

I'm pretty sure you all have known for a while that sometimes I have her post for me when I'm at work, right?

and sometimes the "who's logged in" thing get's forgotten till it's been posted, and then fixxxored.

ohh, and to answer the "as long as no songs have been on other albums" question, only 1 song was on another album. I did some looking around, and yes, 1 song appeared on another album, so I guess that dq's it huh?

kills it, IMO. If none appeared on other albums you'd have been in the clear.

It was an Elvis album, and I'm fine with saying it's Elvis, knowing nobody has picked him, cause well, cause I'm gonna pick him with this pick. Now I just gotta pick an album.

Basically, he realeased a boat load of singles only songs, but blue suede shoes appeared on his very first album, and it appeared on this album as well, so I'll consider it null and void.

sorry it'll take me a few mins to find an Elvis album that I want.

Elvis Presley - Elvis Presley

1. Heartbreak Hotel Mae Boren Axton, Tommy Durden and Elvis Presley 2:09

2. I Was The One Schroeder, DeMetrius, Blair and Peppers 2:35

3. Blue Suede Shoes Carl Perkins 1:58

4. I'm Counting on You Don Robertson 2:22

5. I Got a Woman Ray Charles and Renald Richard 2:23

6. One-Sided Love Affair Bill Campbell 2:10

7. I Love You Because Leon Payne 2:41

8. Just Because Bob Shelton, Joe Shelton and Sydney Robin 2:31

9. Tutti Frutti Dorothy LaBostrie, Richard Penniman and Robert Blackwell 1:57

10. Trying to Get to You Charles Singleton and Rose Marie McCoy 2:31

11. I'm Gonna Sit Right Down and Cry (Over You) Howard Biggs and Joe Thomas 2:01

12. I'll Never Let You Go (Little Darlin' Jimmy Wakely 2:22

13. Blue Moon Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart 2:40

14. Money Honey Jesse Stone 2:33

15. Shake, Rattle & Roll Charles Calhoun 2:30

16. My Baby Left Me Arthur Crudup and Elvis Presley 2:12

17. Lawdy Miss Clawdy Lloyd Price 2:10

18. I Want You, I Need You, I Love You Maurice Mysels and Ira Kosloff 2:40

so what is the deal here... 10 or 15 rounds? i'd like to know because if it's 10 rounds, i'll be making my kicker and defense selections now. if 15, i still have some rbs and wrs i want to pick first.

who knows.

just to be safe, assume that it's 15.

I've already pretty much given up, so I've been making my "kicker/defense" picks the last 3-4 rounds.

Then grab yourself "The Great Adventures of Slick Rick" on the next pick. These fockers with no appreciation for old school rap will never know what hit them.

This azzhole is clearly a focking retard. After we already mentioned multiple times not to say that shlt in here, he comes in and does it. He gets yelled at about it, yet comes in and says shlt again. DrJ - YOU ARE A FOCKING IDIOT. :dunno:

Relax, thanks to some completely sucktastic picks in the 1st half of this draft there's boatloads of talent remaining. You got guys like Big Pete trying to appeal to the h0mo population, he's sure to take some BS Bee Gee's album at some point soon, leaving even more talent for you.

Still plenty of great bands entirely untouched at this point.

I am aware of this. Others are also aware. But nothing ruins a fun topic like this more than someone naming sh!t that hasn't been picked yet.

Feel free to bash on anyone's draft at will - but please refrain from mentioning any album/band names that haven't been picked yet. Please.

You honestly did fock up my Jane's Addiction pick with that post - I was hoping to wait another 2-3 rounds for that.

I think he thinks you're ghay. thus, whatever you pick is ghay by proximity.

See, I'm a little afraid of catching the ghay just by quoting you.
