remote controller 143 Posted June 2, 2007 I'm back. Give me a minute. I think Betts is gonna be well worth his draft position here. He was fixin' to be gone anyway! I don't feel quite as high on Rivers this year due to LT's TD explsoion last season. Not a bad pick, I just think that there are many equal Qb's now, available in a round or 2. I considered 2 other wideouts here and 1 TE, then went with Jennings. Good work ethic. Runs great routes. Never let's up, and has a head for the game. He got injured, and kind of hit the rookie wall last year. I see the Pack as a team on the rise due to a much better defense. I feel that Jennings will get more and more redzone oppurtunites. .......................and a Homer Pick! I guess a Texas Panhandle pick of a Packer could still be considered a homer pick Right? Fumble has been around off and on so we should easily make this corner, and beyond if falco and Clash check in???
Da Bomb 0 Posted June 2, 2007 nothing in this draft has been easy when it involves the coot.

Fumbleweed 546 Posted June 2, 2007 Sorry about that. Just finished up a garage sale and just as I was checking in, my wife called for me to haul a ton of stuff down to a resale shop....stuff that didn't sell. Then, we had to return a bunch of tables we had borrowed. Well, remote, Jennings would have been my pick, but as is sometimes the case, he was taken one pick prior to when I wanted him. I like Jackson's upside, but thought Jennings was the safer pick. I have two more WRs left in a tier with Jackson and Jennings....hopefully, one of them will slide to 9.03....we shall see! Da Bomb 0 Posted June 2, 2007 i am intrigued by vincent jackson, but just not enough to have seriously considered him. he was on my top 10 list of available WRs and the upside is obvious, but im just not sure a chargers WR can really do much right now on that team behind lt2 and gates, even if he is the 3rd option. i had high hopes for eric parker last year and none of the receivers realy did anything. now theyve added a first round receiver too. between the tons of TDs to gates and lt2, im just not sure theres much leftover split between the rest. I'm afraid you're right....that's why I liked Jennings better. We shall see. I rolled the dice with Jackson...he's good in the red zone. Maybe he can find a way to get 6-7 TDs and 800-900 yards. Jackson was 2nd on my wr list, but I had just got done stating why Rivers didn't trip my trigger this year, and I dropped him a few more spots. With LT and gates , and the style of ball they play, I had to downgrade him some.

thedanzone 2 Posted June 2, 2007 Was hoping Favre would fall. I knew he would when we were waiting on Coot. Liked the picks before me, but I had to go QB. I was hoping Rhodes would fall to me. I like Jennings alot!

More to do with recs/yardage...td's were too sporatic. You're in ballpark...something like 50-59recs and 700-799yds...the actual numbers is with the wr list, so I'll send you that too.
