Yesterday I received an email invite to a pool party/BBQ at my GF & her husband's home, though... which sounds tempting. Vic_Rattlehead 0 Posted July 3, 2007 Hey man, I'm taking the kids on wednesday morning and heading up to the cabin for rest of the week. The wife has to work (or so she says). She bought 3 new thongs tonight. WTF's up with that? Anyway, I'll pull the boat up to the cabin and we'll participate in the annual drive your boat around the 200 acre lake parade. After that, we head to the one resort on the lake for a BBQ. That's always good. Then it's back to the cabin for drinks and games. Then we put on bug spray and wait for the fireworks. We buy some, but it doesn't compare to what some of the people around the lake throw up into the air. They must put 10-15K up into the air. It's pretty impressive. We shoot our load early, then head out to the middle of the lake in the boat with 5-6 cases of beer and enjoy. The show's usually done by 1. The next day (thursday), I tend to sleep in. One of the local golf courses has all you can golf with a cart after 5 for $10 on thursdays, so we usually do that. I'll leave the kids in grandma's care and go golfing with dad. The golf cart ladies will suck cack for a $5 tip, so I usually throw them $4. Friday, I think we'll take the kids out fishing somewhere. A fish fry of fresh sunfish on friday night is usually good. You won't believe this, but when we went camping last weekend, a couple in the site next to us has a daughter the same age as our daughter and they are going to be up on the same lake camping from friday-sunday. Anyway, we told the girls we'd get them together on saturday for some tubing and skiing. I'll put the 150 back in the water on sundayy and the girls will enjoy themselves. Also, my wife and her parents plan to join the festiviites on saturday. Perhaps she'll wear a thong? anyway... after the boating and swimming day on saturday, we'll head back home after a meal of beer butt chicken on sunday. It should be solid.
