Who won AGAINST A. Peterson's monster game?

Recommended Posts

I just came back from a very enjoyable afternoon day trip with the wife and little one and BOOM!!!

Peterson had dropped 47 points on me....CRAZY #'s!!

Thankfully, I had Addai, Barber, Romo and Witten still to play!!! :bandana:

Final score 125 to 123, and I knocked the only undefeated team left off his soon to be tiny little perch!! :headbanger:

GO COWBOYS!!!

No problem, have AD in every league but one and played vs him in that league. Had my best week ever and am up by 50 points thanks to players like Lynch, Bush and Engram.

I have Peterson...unfortunatley my opponent has LJ, Engram, and Bush.

I need Mason and Baltimore "D" to get me 24 points or I lose

Yep,

I had the following lineup this past weekend:

Favre

LT

Lynch

TO

B Edwards

Wittten

Titans

Kaeting

I also have Portis, 85, Colts, J. Wilkins, Shockey, V. Young

I like my chances for a second run for the title in the second half of the season.

My only real weakness is at QB. If Favre goes down, I could be in trouble.

Yes, we have beating our apponent this week with 40 points put up from AP.

I won this week, but I also played the same owner back in week 6 and lost when AD had a huge game against the Bears.. was countered by LT's 4 TDs that week.

Sat AP in favor of LJ - still won.

Played AP in another league and won with Westbrook and LJ (point per reception so 14 receptions by Westbrook certainly helped).

I have AP and am losing by 14 with only K Reed going for me tonight.

I wrestled all week between starting LJ or K. Jones, but wound up going with Jones b/c of the matchup. Would be tied right now if I went with LJ.

i won against AD...as AD was over 60% of my opponents total score (a FF rookie, not a great team)...with Addai, T.O., Galloway, and Kitna it was no contest .

Romo

Galloway (Saves me every week/year)

TO

85

K. Jones

LenWhale

Owen Daniels

Folks

Green Bay (in the last round, thank you FFtoday rankings.)

total-133.46

Opponent

Peyton

Hilliard

Driver

James Jones

Thomas Jones

Barring a Reed miracle, I should get by with a win in this league playing without my first round pick (Sjax) the entire year.

I started AD, Portis AND Palmer -- together, they gave me 96 points in a league where 100 is a good score -- and it looks like I may still lose.

Besides the crappy play of my usually reliable receivers (Wayne, Ward, Gates) and the collapse of the Charger defense, my opponent fielded Roethlisberger, Holmes, LJ and Mason Crosby.

I was up 60 points before tonight's game, with Ward going up against Big Ben, Holmes and the Ravens defense. I figured I was pretty safe: Ben couldn't have a big game without screwing the Ravens D and giving Ward a big heaping hunk of love.

Instead, of his five TDs two go to Holmes and none to Ward -- and Ward has the lowest yardage total too.

At the half, I'm up by six points and feeling very screwed. My only hope is that they spend the second half handing off to Parker. Or Ben throws an 80-yard TD to Ward. Our yardage bonuses work out in Ward's favor on stuff like that.

Biggest smack talker in our league had AD active on his roster and is down by 5 with no one playing tonight (his opponent has Stover). Sweet justice!

Along with AD he had Ocho, Edge, a spectacular (not) Jax D, and a few other chumps this week. His opponent had players like Kitna, Lynch and TO.

It's always fun to watch the loud mouths go down!

136-108 I WIN!!!!

Romo -28

Portis - 25

Tomlinson - 13

Galloway - 14

Williams - 4

Ward - 2

Winslow - 12

Bironas - 10

Steelers DST - 28

My WR's have killed me this year in games and almost screwed me this week, I got Coles and Curtis on the bench too. Hopefully Roy Williams can step it up.

But got to thank Romo, Portis, and that Steelers DST for bailing me out and getting me a win!!!
